"Most biologists in fact believe in God, and find no conflict between their relationship with God and the facts of science. Why would there be? Truth cannot conflict with truth. I'm a born again Christian biologist myself. The real problem is those Christians who think they are required to reject reality because it doesn't coincide with their personal interpretations of the Bible. Remember, pride cometh before the fall..."

Yes. Pope John Paul the II that there is enough evidence to conclude that evolution is more than just a theory.

There is no conflict between evolution and the concept of a creator God. The Bible tells us only that God created everything, not how He did it.

No they can't. If Adam and Eve were created at the beginning
when the earth was created as the bible says then
you can't believe in evolution. Man would have lived before, during and after the dinosaurs era, man did not. The evolution
of man didn't start until around 4 million years ago. Dinosaurs
died off around 75 million years ago. The earth is around
4 1/2 billion years old.

Please state the source of your quote. "A Biologist" is unacceptable. A quote in isolation is almost meaningless. Is this from a book or website, then state it. If you are trying to protect someone for professional reasons (i.e. protect someones job or career), then state this, "A Professor in a University in Midwestern USA (name withheld to protect his/her job) said to me ... ". If you are a creationist you have to do this because the evolutionists demand you stick to the rules. Yes, I know, they don't play by the rules themselves, but that is their problem, let their "science" will collapse under the weight of falsities. If they are so stupid as to not demand rigorous standards of their peers then they will end up with a science which is full of fairy tales. If Creationists follow the rules then it protects the whole Creation belief and keeps it honest.
The problem for biologists is their degree, jobs, and funding depends on them "following the party line". Whether they are Christians, Buddhists, Muslim, or Atheist, they all have to believe this or they won't get very far.

Dear Yuri,

Evolution denies the Genesis account of creation and many of the foundational truths of the Bible. Therefore, anyone who believes evolution is valid is denying the Bible, God's word.

Of course they can, I do. I believe in God and understand Evolution. I believe God was the Master Scientist. There is no reason they should conflict.

I always thought evolution was just God's way of creating. As a Christian, I find that believe more realistic then a God who essentially does magic tricks....

I am a Christian, and I understand a little about evolution. The problem for me, is 'natural selection'. It's as if some people look at the same process, and deny that it was done by a person, for a reason. Young scientists often make this mistake.

Most christians do accept evolution. Only the supa-fundies don't. Granted, there are many supa-fundies in America, which is why we are the most scientifically-illiterate of the democracies. Funny, isn't it?
