Fundamentalist believe the world will end soon (hours, days, months, years). They also believe the the only justification for sex is procreation, not pleasure. So if the world is going to end soon, why bring new souls into the world? What a waste. Shouldn't they just refrain, and remain on their knees in prayer waiting for the rapture?

This book about satan and michael fighting over moses, is very in intriguing ony 2 or 3 pages only, and why does it included in new testament for, the account of moses is on the old testament? The gap is very disturbing!

I hear it a lot, but I don't understand it. Someone who knows, please explain to me exactly what it means to say that "Jesus died for our sins." Why was it necessary? I am not trying to be mean to anyone with this; I just want to understand the logic. Best answer for the one who describes the real understanding of this for me.

Please answer plainly using a plain set of statements without quoting any scriptures.

for example here's my screwed up sense of it (correct this one if you want):
- God is omniscient and omnipotent
- God created humans
- thus, God intentionally created humans having temptations for certain behaviors that he doesn't like (which he called "sins")
- knowing that his creations were going to offend him, he sent his son/himself to Earth to be crucified
- God decided that this act directly exculpates his repentant creations from offending him in the ways he designed us to
- therefore, we should always be extremely grateful that Jesus died for our sins

like an audio Bible only accompanied with moving pictures?
Or at least one book of the Bible?

I want a full and complete movie, directly taken from the words of the Bible, with nothing added, left out, or summarized. KJV if possible.

As everyone knows, until the advent of medicine, disease, like floods & earthquakes, was a totally random phenomenon. Some people got sick, others didn't. Some died, while others did not. There was no equity. Good people could suffer and die, while evil people might be spared. Despite the inequities, disease was a most effective form of discipline, and god surely must have been happy having created such a diabolic means of punishing people.

Until........ Out of the clear blue, mankind invented medicine. Suddenly, good people didn't have to die. They could be cured, and even vaccinated to prevent disease entirely! Did god slip up?
How could he? We all know god is omniscient. He must have known we'd find cures and vaccines, so the question we must ask is, why did he allow us to thwart this particular plan? We can't prevent any of his other mechanisms of smite... volcanoes, earthquakes, typhoons.

Maybe he just wanted to make billionaires out of the pharmaceutical company owners?

Genocide and Islam: Chapter 4 - Islam and the Muslim Invasions “Let it be said right away: the massacres perpetuated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the Holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks” http://www.nalanda.nitc.ac.in/resources/english/etext-project/history/gautier/chapter4.html

Wait, you dont like what world renowned historian Fracois Gautier wrote before 911? Ok, how about Durant? He says the exact same thing. By the way, these are world renowned historians with peerless academic credentials all publishing these remarks way before 911.

These estimates, are over a several hundred year period of Islamic invasions, and they run as high as 1 billion super peaceful hindus exterminated. Keep in mind, hindus never invaded any country in their entire history!

By the way Muslims, Im not Hindu...its so funny to read your Hinduhate when I posts remarks about this Islamic holocaust.

First of all thanks everyone who answered my last question. Your answers were all good and heartfelt. But it made me realize the question I should have asked is "How did you come to find your religion? What drew you to the beliefs that you know/feel/sense is the truth?"

Thanks

How typical.
The last refuge of any scoundrel or wack-job is religon or god. Of course that's not the case if they use religion or god to justify their actions in the first place.
Honestly, religion needs to be tossed onto the ash-heap of history. Once and for all.

How can you follow your conscious... your conscious is made of mistakes that were given you at birth and while growing up... culture and traditions were transfered to your "system"... so you all must have a different interpretation of what the bible says just to suit your needs... because obviouly all of you have a different consious...
You calling me a murderer when i only say what is in the bible?? Does that make Christians murderers, or just makes some Christians answer from their blind faith?

I havn't been to church in years, like since I was 8. I'm 42 now and decided to start back up. I don't think I ever really noticed the silver back then but now when I put my hand in the water it was loaded with silver particles on the bottom of the bowl. I didn't want to ask people in church, I feel a little weird for my age to do that. Thanks.

Do any of you like to send hate mail after you claim to love God? I would just love to get hate mail from someone who claims to love God so I can just laugh at how lost they are. I would never judge a person on their beliefs because it is a free world and I know a lot of people here would not do it either so why do some of you do so?

I'm really upset about this whole christians vs gays thing. Whenever I ask a question about gays I always get an answer from a christian that goes something along the lines of "I don't have a problem with gays, no sin is greater than another, I love gay people just as christ would" Then I think "Aww, well that's good, I was to quick to judge christians as a whole, they're not all bad" Then they have to ruin that moment by going "I"m not one to judge their sinful lifestyle"...Okay don't...Don't call it that, think what you want but don't refer to it as sinful. Because if gays are so bad then why didn't God put it into his Top Ten? Don't judge them, and don't say you don't have a problem with them if you're going to put them down. Some christians say gays are bad, but same say gays aren't a problem, so what makes you guys so right? Pessimists...

How many more simplistic naive ignorant cliches can I think of....hmmmm....give me a moment.

"you cant blame all one billions muslims for the actions of million muslims at war everywhere in the world. The effect is the cause"

Wait...

Wait PCmoron, dont get me wrong, I really do wish the world was the way your tiny little brain sees it...sarcasm aside, i really really do, but because I KNOW THE WORLD IS NOT THIS WAY, and because i dont hate myself or my culture, I chose to exist....i chose to do whats necessary for me and my family to survive.

ALL TRUTH IS REVEALED BY ACTION

ISLAM IS WHAT IS MANIFEST THROUGH ITS CULTURE. ISLAM IS NOTHING ELSE BUT WHAT IS MANIFEST THROUGH THE ACTIONS OF MUSLIMS.

Almost all armed conflict worldwide is Islamic

Islam, as a culture and belief system, has the longest standing history or war, slavery and genocide. Islam has tallied more death by genocide than any other movement in the history of mankind.
