How can you follow your conscious... your conscious is made of mistakes that were given you at birth and while growing up... culture and traditions were transfered to your "system"... so you all must have a different interpretation of what the bible says just to suit your needs... because obviouly all of you have a different consious...
You calling me a murderer when i only say what is in the bible?? Does that make Christians murderers, or just makes some Christians answer from their blind faith?

Most Christinas who study and know the BIble understand that homosexuality is a sin; however, to appease others and be tolerant (which is what is socially acceptable) they do, at times, compromise themselves.

Nice question. Let's put this in simple terms. Christians follow the bible, not their "desires" yes everyone is born different blah blah blah...But just because I am Irish by birth and Amercian by choice doesn't mean I am not Irish, or NOT american. Just because one person interpruts "the" as "thee" instead of just plain THE doesn't mean they are wrong...it simply means they say it differently. Like me, I bet I talk differently then you, I am irish, which means I have a good irish accent, something you don't have. But just because I say something differently than you, doesn't mean what I am trying to get across is so very different from what you are. We all interprut things differently...And that's fine, God made us that way. The bible is plain enough to understand...all you have to do is read it. But to be truthful, yes we are all murderers... Only by the grace of God are we ever forgiven from what we did to our Savior on the cross. We killed him, our sins did, our actions did, our words did...everything about us killed Jesus. But the thing is, Jesus had the bigger picture. He chose to go to the cross, to die for us...So that blood would be shed once and for all. My bail was paid, I was sentenced to DEATH...And Jesus stepped in and took my place. I killed him, I murdered Jesus Christ my LORD. But thats just it, in my sin, I killed him. But in God's grace...I was saved. Jesus conquered the grace, and gave us all a chance at enternal life. But I am sure you have heard all this before. Yep, we are blind, sorry to say it too, but alot of the time us Christians can't see past our noses. We are NO better than you, or anyone else, and I don't even mean to pretend we are. Maybe we all do have different coniouses...But I don't believe a conious is what makes up your mind for you. It pushes, it pulls, but it sure as heck doesn't make you do one thing or the other. I interpretate the bible the way it is read to me, or by me... I can only trust God that I am reading it the right way. But yah know, if you are really a Christian, God guides you, there is no wrong way to read it...if you are truly seeking God and looking for what he wants...He'll guide you to it. The bible is God breathed scripture, and is usefull for every good work.
My God is a God of love, and a God of amazing gifts....life is a gift my friend, use it well.
God bless you
Kat

Jesus said to follow him. Am I a murderer? Well, the Bible says hatred is murder at heart so yes: I have hated so I am a murderer at heart.
We may have different cultures and traditions but our conscience says the same thing. You cant define good and evil unless you put God into the equation. We can all agree that murder is wrong, correct? That is your conscience; there is a difference between your conscience and your heart.

What are you really......a Chrislim? We Christians are controlled by the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth (Bible). Don't try to quote what you do not have a clue about. You're talking about "blind faith." For someone to strapped themselves with explosive and kill innocent people - what in the world would you call that?

do you keep meaning to say conscience?

anyway, the fact of the matter is this:

yes, homosexuality is sinful.
yes, Jesus was not for homosexuality
yes, you are correct when you say Christians don't pay close enough attention to Scripture.

but:

Christ does not stand for ANY killing for ANY sin in the New Testament. He stands for forgiveness and restoration that comes about from repentance and salvation.

you quoted from Genesis (notably BEFORE the Isaac/Ishmael split), but Christ was not on the Earth in Human form, revealing His teachings in Genesis. The world was in a different dispensation (simply put, God managed the world and revealed Himself differently then).

we are not called to kill any sinners, but we are called to try to save their souls through the life-changing message of peace and forgiveness -- as well as God's justice and wrath -- that Christ brought.

There are three follows which I would like to share with you.
Matthew 4:18 Jesus told Peter and Andrew to follow him and he would make them fishers of men. In another words if we follow Christ he will lead us to others to help show them the way and so on.
Psalm 23:6 "Goodness and mercy shall follow me...." If we follow God's will and seek His guidance. Then his goodness and mercy shall follow us.
Numbers 14:24 says that if we follow God, then our spirit will follow him and he will follow us.
And let us not forget what John the Baptist said when He proclaimed Christ before he baptized Jesus. "Behold the Lamb of God"
Blind faith, not hardly. Because I follow and seek a RISEN SAVIOUR.

Romans 8:9
You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

Romans 8:11
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

1 Corinthians 3:16
Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?

1 John 3:24
Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

These bible scriptures testify to the HOLY SPIRIT that leads GOD's people. How do you get the HOLY SPIRIT?

Acts 2

29"Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ,[f] that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay. 32God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. 33Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. 34For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said,
" 'The Lord said to my Lord:
"Sit at my right hand
35until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet." '[g]

36"Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

37When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"

38Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
