On the Gospel St.Jude on new testament, Why Did satan fought for the body of moses over St. Michael?

This book about satan and michael fighting over moses, is very in intriguing ony 2 or 3 pages only, and why does it included in new testament for, the account of moses is on the old testament? The gap is very disturbing!

jude is about the apostasy that will take place before the events of the Apocalypse unfold.

why did they fight? because Israel, like all humans, was a nation full of very stupid people. Semitic cultures often build shrines and altars when great leaders perished. Knowing that the Israelites would worship moses' grave instead of the God that lead Moses, Michael refused to allow Satan to take the body and make known the location to the people of Israel. That's my take.

the really interesting thing is that this account is actually a quote from the apocrypha book of Enoch. The fact that Jesus' half brother quoted from Enoch does not mean that Enoch is inspired writing, it simply means that these few lines are. This same phenomina occurs when paul quotes greek poetry.

Moses was the Leader [Liaison] of the people of Israel - the Jewish nation of the Old Testament of the Holy Bible. The Israelites were easy marks for idolatry and Satan knew this. It wasn't in God's plan at this juncture for the Israelites to be come occupied with worshipping Moses bones.
