those 2 western aid workers who were captured by islamic terroists were forced to convert to islam or face death. due to the fear of death they converted and when they were released laughed at islam.
could it be that there is something wrong with the minds of muslims who try to cram their islam down the throats of non muslims by force?

If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house, and if after she leaves his house she becomes the wife of another man, and her second husband dislikes her and writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house, or if he dies, then her first husband, who divorced her, is not allowed to marry her again after she has been defiled (Deut. 24:1-4).

Is there a set of guidlines that all atheists follow? Do they have their own version of a 'bible' or 'koran' or whetever?
I just wonder, "why are there so many of them hanging around on this thread"?

if your answer is "the baptism of Jesus" means that all sins were passed onto Jesus and that He was judged instead of us. In order to save mankind, Jesus had to take away our sins with His baptism and die for them.
then i will be convinced that what ever i do Jesus will be judged instead.,and there is no need for the cross because he was already saved us

It is not true that Jesus died an rose from death. If ever he was put in a tomb. He was just unconscience. Alternatively he was never put in there!

What is the Jewish view of Satan? Christians view him as a fallen angel bent on revenge and therefore does horrible things to other people. In Sunday school we discussed John 13, and John talks about Satan entering Judas. A member of the class went on a little 'lecture' about the evils of the Devil in our lives. I spoke up saying that if Jesus and his followers were, in fact, Jewish, they wouldn't have viewed Satan as evil. Is this true? What is the view of the Devil in Jewish faith?

if a recent article is true, and Evangelicals really do only expect 4 percent of their young people to remain faithful into and throughout their adulthood, does this spell the death of Christianity?

I'm Catholic and I've said for years I was going to wait until my honeymoon to lose my virginity. I was with my new bf yesterday, and we were making out. I said , "what about it ?" he wanted to but asked me several times if I truelly wanted to. I just was in the mood and off we went and I lost my virginity. I feel a little slutty. We've only dated 2 days, and like I said, I'm Catholic. I swore to God many times I was waiting until my honeymoon. I feel as though from some feelings I had (not emational) it may have been God was kind of punishing me, but I'm epilpeltic, and like I said, we were cuddling first. Am I a bad Catholic? You think those feelings may have been God punishing for breaking a sin I created? It's not really in the Bible. I just hope we stick together or I'll feel double the slu+. I'm happy with him. Was what i did bad? Especialy since I'm Catholic and swore to God?

Okay... I feel pretty lost... My parents taught me to be a Christian... but i feel like there's something wrong... they say that homosexuals go to hell and that people who don't believe in God will go to hell and the people who just do GOOD but don't bellieve in God go to hell as well...

Isn't it unfair though to the homosexuals and the non-believers? What i mean is... why would God send his creation to hell? I don't understand, my parents also say that God is LOVE, how is that love? I am just very confused because i know my father and mother would love me no matter what... whether i was bad or good... I'm not saying people who intentionally do bad things should go to heaven... but shouldn't they have a second chance before entering hell?

Oh i am sorry, I have answered my own question:

He has:

The Universe
The Earth and how it uniquely provides for life
The wonder of nature and all its beauty
The idea of creatures with free will
The complexity of the human body and all its parts
The miracle of birthing a child
The way he loves us no matter if we refuse his existance

I know you will all have some good comments, so let her rip, really tell me your opinions. . . . . don't talk about the destruction, diease and dying of things as we have created that. Talk about the "good" things and if you don't beleive they came from God then where?

I understand that the concept of faith is exactly opisite what the world is use to(Evidence First,Faith later).

But if God gives all theese great promises;salvation, blessings, miracles, fruits of the spirit,Gifts of the spirit, and reward in Heaven; is it not worth it to step out on Faith(Faith First;evidence later) and believe God(Jesus Christ) is true to His word and true to His promises?
