Nice job of answering your own question and in turn making a fool of yourself and disgracing Muslims all across Yahoo Answers. I applaud you.

it is not the religion that a person follows that comes up with inventions, philosophies or discoveries, you are denouncing the individuals by giving the religion credit, and muslims need to stop advertising their religion so much
oh and the math was taken from indian civilizations as a result of trade, you can look that up on some unbiased sites (most of your sites are biased towards muslims)

veritas45 has no idea about the concept of salvation in Islam. Muslims do not believe that you can "earn" heaven by doing good works alone. Good works without faith are nothing, and faith without good works is nothing.
The Prophet Muhammad said to his comapnions that no one will enter heaven without the grace and mercy of God. His companions asked if even he would not enter paradise without God's grace and mercy. The prophet replied that indeed even he would only enter paradise with God's mercy.
In this life we can do all the good works that a human could possibly do, but we could never repay God for even a small favor he has granted us. Those of us who are fortunate enough to have eyesight could never compensate God for this favor by our good works, even if we lived and worshipped for a thousand years. Our good works are done to fulfil our obligations to God and our fellow humans, and to show Him that we are making an effort to worship and obey him. In return for our faith and meager efforts, God grants us everlasting peace and happiness through his grace and mercy in the life after death.

Gray Farie should receive 100 points for outstanding observation!!!
Out of 1 billion plus muslims we have maybe 9 Nobel prizes?
If you are going to persuade people to your point of view you will need to get rid of those who are too dumb to recognize that they are insulting everyone's intelligence!

LONESTAR please name the society Muslims wiped out because they refused to embrace Islam?
What a crock. Conversion to Islam cannot be forced it has to be a submission of the heart. Allah knows what is in your heart and if there is no love for Islam even if you walk the walk and talk the talk Allah knows your heart is fake. Therefor every Muslim knows there is no such thing as forcible conversion. DOH!
