If I discovered Noah's Ark, I would charge 100 trillion dollars for me not to release it to the public.

The Vatican has their own archeologists.
When they found the "Ark" in Turkey, they claimed they had already been to it and found writings inside (this was in Biblical Archeology magazine... surprised no one seems to really know about it)... It was found that the writings were a fraud, written on paper that was made to appear ancient. Another supposedly went straight to it and found it was a rock... also in Biblical Archeology. If you go online, you will find they are building (or have built, it may be done by now) an Amusement Park nearby that explains the story of Noah's Ark.
I find it odd that everyone seems to think that is the Ark. I have seen pictures of it... it would not be big enough to carry all of the animals in the world... not even if there were half the animals we have today.
I'm sure a flood happened in that area. Floods happen all the time. And maybe it was so devastating that only a few families in that area survived it. But I see no reason to believe in a worldwide flood. I certainly do not see this as anything unique, story wise. The Epic of Gilgamesh, a famous "Pagan" writing about a world flood, which is older than the Bible, can be found online. There are other stories that are similar... worldwide floods. Yet, all of those stories claim only one or two families survived. Each of the stories are from different times, etc. On this we would have to take into consideration how small the population of humans was during that time. One flood that wipes out a village would seem like the world was coming to an end.

The ark story has been researched for Archaeologists for many years. The religious actually tried to claim that they found the ark in Iceland at one point.
Reality is that there is evidence of water in pretty much every place on earth. The thing the religious keep refusing to believe is that the evidence of water is from different geologic time periods.
Idiotically, they refuse to believe anything science says about the geologic folding, movement of the techtonic plates, etc. Makes me wonder how they justify earthquakes and volcanos.
Its closed minded Christians desperate to prove their religion right and refusing to believe anything that refutes it.
Btw, contrary to the post directly above mine, wood CAN survive for millenia. Its why petrified wood exists.

The ark (if it existed) was wooden and wood doesn't survive for centuries never mind millenia. The 21st century and people are still clinging to these delusions-it's pathetic.

Nope.
Archaeologists found it years ago...even pictures.
Archaeologists use the Bible often in their searching and researching. No need to pay them to use it. It is a standard tool.
