I just finished watching Terminator 3 "Rise of the machines" on AMC and it gave me a rather intrigung question...
Well as many already know the world's population and society is almost destroyed at the end of the film when the evil skynet computer launches an all-out attack on humanity!
(OK now to the real world)
That is Hollywood and the possibilty of this happening in my lifetime look practically nonexistent. But the threat of nuclear anihilation is very much real!
They're are so many thing that could cause our society's demise
*War with China (Practically Suicidal!)
*Terrorists (Probably from the Ruskies old cold war arsenal)
*Accidental release of nuclear attack due to computer error
*Other opposing nations EX: North Korea, Iran.
All it takes is one accidental missle to start WWIII
So if the world where destroyed like in the film would the faith in Christ disipate or would most Christians still be looking toward the future events of the tribulation and the end of time?

Is every thing in nature the plan of god?
If yes then why did he planned all these religions which will be the cause of total destruction of mankind from this earth?

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

I really don't know... It's very strange that people are saying God exists and are worshipping him. I find it hard to believe some religion that has so many flaws making it very unbelieveable.

Please take for instance. I had a Catholic program running at my school a few years back. The teacher said 'God forgives and forgets,' But then why would these things such as Tsunamis happen?! And on Boxing Day too! Not only that the Bible... It's a book that Catholics stick too and look up to for help. I think It's because they want something/someone telling them rules. I don't know why this is. Not only that but the people who wrote the Bible (Correct me if I'm wrong) were the same people that thought the Earth was flat... I know Catholics are allowed to have their beliefs and so am I.

So I believe if God did exist then he would just be playing puppets with us. Having fun like a 3 year old girl that plays with her little Barbies. Sorry if I have offended anyone. It's just what I believe in.

I've only been crushed in one debate. He had a lot of sources ready and I just had memory, and basically I was entrusted with trying to prove Christianity without using any Biblical sources or any quotes after 50AD. Then we started discussing science and I think I won that part, but with the first part I couldn't really say anything. Looking back at it now I made a lot of mistakes and could have slammed his arguments, but I was ill-prepared and because of that the debate did not go well overall.

Pablo Escobar was a major drug dealer who made a living of importing hard drugs to USA and else were. At his funeral he was brought to almost a saint like status. People consider him holy since he gave some of his dirty money to the faithful poor Christians.(many protested and clashed with the supporters of Escobar)

Bin Laden is hero to many Muslims. As a matter a fact he is almost holy in his actions. (people weren't dancing out of sadness on 9/11 in Palestine)

If these guys gain grounds why is it so hard to believe that all religions are corrupt power hungry cults?

The more significant for me was converting my first girlfriend to Christianity. The day we met she was very anti-religious and we got in a debate and ended up kinda getting in a fight, but then I told her I just loved her and didn't want her to be separated from God, and I later learned that she dedicated her heart to Jesus that night, and about a week later she also dedicated it to me.

Secondly, I was debating with a Muslim for about three hours and he basically admitted my arguments were too strong for him and I should debate one of those Islamnic preachers.... I don't think he ended up converting but it was still rewarding spiritually knowing my arguments stood up very well.

All religious people welcome, and please be sincere and don't say "I converted 20,000 people to Judaism" or something like that :P

For me (as a Christian) I had a Jewish friend in Israel and after my first girlfriend died, she called me just to offer me support and pray for me. Both her and her family did not believe Jesus as the Messiah, and now my friend is in the Israeli Defense Forces.

What kindness did you receive from a person from a different religion? Be sure to list what religion you are and what religion they are.... Hopefully we'll have kind things reported from all types of religions. We'll just call this a quiz to see if people can still do kind things despite the gap in religious beliefs.
