Some Jews believe that Jesus was an actual person, but most do not accept Him as the Messiah - i.e. they don't believe Jesus was divine. The prophecies related to the Messiah - which are not all in the 'Old Testament' - were not fulfilled by Jesus, at least not as the story is told. The Gospels claim that certain prophecies were met, of which some were accurate and some misquoted; but the Messiah must meet *all* of them and according to most Jews this did not happen. Among other things, the Messiah must be both a spiritual and and temporal leader, who leads Israel to victory over its foes; Jesus did not do this and it cannot happen now until *after* the Temple is rebuilt.

Jews and all Christians (not just Catholics) are siblings in the belief in God.
Like most siblings, there are things they cannot agree on. Exactly what/who Jesus is, is one of those issues.
The Jews do not believe Jesus was the Messiah. Therefore, they are still awaiting His First Coming as prophecized in the Old Testament.
Christians, on the other hands, accept Jesus as the Messiah, and eagerly await His Second Coming as prophecized in the New Testament.
There are Messianic Jews. I'm not exactly sure how it works but I think they are Jews who, while they believe Jesus was the Messiah, still practice the Laws of Moses as laid down in the Old Testament.
I hope this helps.

Judaism does not accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah or as the Son of God.
The Jews are still waiting for the Moshiach (Messiah) to come.

+ Catholics +
Catholicism is a Christian denomination that does accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah and the Son of God.
A summary of Catholic beliefs is contained in the Nicene Creed (from the year 325):
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
For a complete description of what Catholics believe, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/index.htm
With love in Christ.

It's true: Jews don't believe in Jesus.
The Jewish people believe in the "Old Testament," as you do. The "OT" has stories of Moses, so we all believe in Moses.
The Jewish people do not believe in the "New Testament," which is where Jesus is mentioned. So... Jews don't believe in Jesus.

You do know that the bible isnt a FACT right? There are many religions in the world - among them Islam that also ties into Judaism. If by your logic, believing in one means you must believe in all, then what about Buddhism and Hinduism??
