Do You Think Christians Are Persecuted Around the World?
250 Million Christians Will Be Persecuted in 2007

250 million Christians worldwide will face persecution in 2007, simply for following Jesus Christ, according to persecution watchdog, Release International. In particular it was found that persecution is growing the fastest in the Muslim world.

Release has found that most persecution takes place in four distinct ‘zones’: those of Islam, Communism, Hinduism and Buddhism. But persecution is growing fastest of all in the Muslim world.

Governments in even moderate Muslim countries often fail to safeguard the rights of their Christian minorities, explains RI. Abuses suffered by Christians include kidnapping, forced conversion, imprisonment, church destruction, torture, rape and execution.

One of the world’s worst abusers of religious freedom is Saudi Arabia, guardian of Islam’s holiest sites Mecca and Medina. Saudi Arabia forbids all other religions. A Muslim found ‘guilty’ of converting to Christianity could face the death...

(i.e., burning, weeping, gnashing of teeth, etc.). Does that awareness of suffering not require a soul? Or at least a consciousness? If the unsaved lose their souls, then what exactly is left of our person that will suffer in hell?

If a "natural" person (someone "without the Spirit") cannot understand the things of God as the Scripture says in the following verse, then how can he/she gain the necessary understanding?

1 Corinthians 2:14 says, "The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."

I do not need a complete knowledge of the universe to prove to you that cubic spheres do not exist. Such objects have mutually-exclusive attributes which would render their existence impossible. For example, a cube, by definition, has 8 corners, while a sphere has none. These properties are completely incompatible: they cannot be held simultaneously by the same object. It is my intent to show that the supposed properties of the Christian God Yahweh, like those of a cubic sphere, are incompatible, and by so doing, to show Yahweh's existence to be an impossibility.

Have mercy, guys! It was my first question -- about how to find an on-line bible study partner. I apologize for not putting in more details and for unintentionally offending some people. I have studied the JW religion and while I respect their beliefs I prefer to study under a more conventional vein of Christianity. I knew they had a vast network of bible study aids and assistance and my thought was to circumvent the need for them to respond up front. I regret that I phrased my question poorly and hope to do better in the future. There truly was no malice intended and I am sorry for the unintended offense. I enjoy people of lots of different backgrounds, opinions, and beliefs. My preference to decline aid from Jehovah Witness is after studying their beliefs and practices and realizing their studies are not those I would be interested in entering.

It was about two years ago and my two youngest were sitting with me in my bedroom while I was typing something up on my computer. Well my two children who are 4 & 5 yrs old now started screaming and jumped on my lap panicing. They wouldn't get off my lap and held on tight screaming and crying, saying they wanted to leave. I ran out of my house with them to my mothers. My oldest told me he saw a man with sharp teeth and horns laying on my bed laughing at him later my daughter said the same thing. I also have seen dark figures standing in my kitchen in the middle of the night staring at me. I know it isn't mental and a pastor told me that children see more than we know. He also said the environment in my house seemed gloomy. I moved since than and everything seems better but I know if you let Satan in he'll follow any thoughts on this?

Is the term "hater" a leftist PC conformity devise intended to bring all the sheeple into the left-wing flock?

Notice how people who use the word "hater" dont say much else, like for example, why your a "hater" or WTF a hater is.

Naturally, insecure Islamists wil think any criticism of Islam is "hate". Its part of their religious doctrine to deal with critcism in this matter. At best, Islamists will only tolerate softball questions about Islamic ritual and belief, but any criticism is considered hate by Islamists and leftists alike.

You gotta love that arrangement, I mean, you could call it an evolutionary adaptation...religious edicts that shield the core doctrine from public scrutiny.

Hi, Ive been thinking about this and want other peoples opinions. Which is the right day for worship. Sunday isnt the right day since the 'sun' in Sunday refers to the Roman sun god Sol Invictus and Saturday refers too Saturnus the Roman god of agriculture and harvest. Sunday is the first day of the new week not the seventh day. The seventh day is a Saturday hence the Seventh Day Adventists. Should Christmas be held in April right after Easter Holiday since thats the truth and the month in which Jesus Christ was really born. Is the decoration of Christmas trees against the Christian religion or not ? According to articles the decoration of Christmas trees is a pagan tradition adopted by the Christians. December 25 is not the real Christmas but the birthday of the Turkish saint Saint Niklaus or Santa or whatever you like to call him. Go have a look at the following sites:

I'd like to have a new religious text for the masses to interpt and twist to their own liking. So how would I begin in writing a book that would enlighten others to the point, they could use as a reason to call themselves prophets, followers and even have a few apostates who claim my words aren't of God.... AMEN

Look I don't want any qoutes from any holy book... I believe that we are all in a way sons and daughters of God... Don't we all share the spirit of God? When a christian is saying Jesus was son of God S/HE IS NOT SAYING THAT GOD GAVE BIRTH (PHYSICALLY) TO JESUS... Jesus was born from the spirit of God from the virgion (NOTICE I SAY VERGION? ONE WHO IS VERGION IS PURE - HAD NO SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP) We don't say that Jesus was born from God or that God by any means had any kind of human like relationship with Merry... Does any Muslim who is reading this understand my point? If you do ... do you now understand what Christians mean when they call Jesus son of God?
