Bigotry means that you reject something despite demonstrateable proof. You admit that JWs have great tools, but reject them COMPLETELY anyway?
The YA community can decide for themselves if your a bigot. A more fair person would have said that they already studied and understand JW teachings, and you don't need any more information from them.

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I saw your original question, and didn't click on it to answer, as you didn't want to study with JW's. I was in no way offended. I am sorry if some were and let you know about it. You did nothing wrong, don't let anyone tell you that you did.

Who goes from door to door in twos?
How should witnesses react when bible truth is rejected?
What happens to those who disregard witnesses?
Who has bible truth been revealed to?
(Luke 10:1-21) [Jesus] sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few...Go forth ...go on telling them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ But wherever you [witnesses] enter into a city and they do not receive you, go out into its broad ways and say, ‘Even the dust that got stuck to our feet from your city we wipe off against you. Nevertheless, keep this in mind, that the kingdom of God has come near.’ ...He that listens to you [witnesses] listens to me too. And he that disregards you [witnesses] disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.” 17 Then the seventy returned with joy... [Jesus] became overjoyed in the holy spirit and said: “I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have carefully hidden these things [about bible truth] from wise and intellectual ones, and have revealed them to babes.

IT is impossible to make everyone happy. It is also nearly impossible to not offend anyone. I do hope you come back to Jehovah.

When I saw your ques ion I thought you were inquiring about preference as in sex orientation.
But I understand after reading all that you wrote, To me I don;t think anyone should get offended about their religion or being ask how they believe.
my preference is something that I live by, and would die by, so it dose not offend me when I am ask about it.
I have had Jehovah Witness making their rounds and stop by my home, I try to be polite but decline to listen to their doctrine, We tell them they are welcome to sit and have refreshments, but not to discuss their religion.
