Since the question at hand is redefining marriage?

So if it's between consenting adults who "love each other", sky's the limits....

How would one be able to defend one and not the other?

*What does God think of "missionary dating"?*
& then it goes on to a letter :

(Letter)
I met this guy I really like. The other day, I found out he is a Jehovah's Witness. I know it's probably wrong for me to see him, but I was wondering if there could be a possibility of me changing his religion. I am scared he will go to hell if I don't. Can you help me?

I got this as an answer to another question...have you heard this before? AND wouldn't this mean Jesus was Satan? Or did I interpret it incorrectly?

"Was Zeus Satan?
We can find original text written in Greek, Latin as well as Hebrew. The Greek alphabet was assigned numerical values (The X gives the Z sound of Xylophone) X (=Chi) 600; Xi (shaped like a curled capital E) 60 and S (Sigma) 6. (Although Sigma is no longer used, it was) Thus 600, 60 and 6 spells XES, the Greek spelling for Zeus. In the KJV translation - where the name of the prophet Elisha (meaning 'My God is Saviour') has been retained in the paganised form 'Eliseus' (My god is Zeus). In similar fashion, the Name of the Hebrew Messiah YAHU'SHUAH (meaning 'YAHU is Saviour') has been paganised to read 'JeZeus', ('God is Zeus') which later became 'Jesus' in the English language (pronounced 'Jezus').

600 (X), 60 (Xi,=E), 6 (S) the number of his name, clearly spells XES the original Greek spelling for ZEUS."

Earlier today I saw a question regarding gay marriage.

There two of the most ignorant of all the ignorant answers. One lady said that if we allowed gay marriage the next thing would be marriage to a talking donkey.

The other ignorant answer compared the marriage of 2 consenting adults to child abuse.

Can the intelligent posters out there believe this?

It seems more a social and networking activity for many.
The groups do take care of each member, mostly.
Do we all have to belong to a group for preservation? Protection?
Have we inherited this from our caveman anscestors?

So many faiths tend to lean towards a divine masculine 'fatherly' figure... which eventually brings out the worst in many men. THen there is the divine feminine 'sister/mother' figure. I know that alot of people tend to be drawn towards the feminine in regards to aversion to Christianity. I love the concept of a Hermaphroditic diety if we are to assign gender. A collaberation of opposites. Beauty and grace combined with force and will.

response?

BTW: I tend to ignore the Christian responses if they tend towards ministry... so, point-grubbing answerers be aware.

Especially when they could often find the answer themselves on Google in about 3 seconds. Such as "where is the evidence of the ark and the flood". You guys just want to look smart, but even when we show you evidence, you still ignore or dismiss it and say we are naive and our sources are unreliable and blah blah. Why ask then? In the meantime, I will be praying for you all...

I'm curious what Lutherans are like? I know Missouri Synod is the more conservative synod. Are they like Baptists at all? Are they Penacostals running through the isles? Or are they more like Catholics--devoted to tradition and liturgy--and more reserved in worship? Are there many Evangelicals within Lutheranism?

The time is coming when you are going to have to choose.
"For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have commited fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
And I heared another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye not recieve of her plagues."
For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: For she Saith in her heart, "I sit a queen and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow."
For those of you that consider yourselves patriots first and Christians second, look at YellowStone National Park. And know the wrath.
