What nation are you referring to?

For example "freedom of religion"....could be considered a Deist line of thought....but it does not state that the nation is entirely Christian.

They didn't. Haven't you noticed that the Declaration of Independence, arguably the first official document of the United States of America, makes NO reference to Jesus Christ? It refers to "Nature and Nature's God."

There would be no reason to do that. We have been sent into all the world to tell people about Jesus Christ. Why would we want to get out of the world, that will happen when Christ returns.

It is more the Christian "nation" expected/demanded such from the Deists.

We wouldn't. We stay away from religion, especially Christianity.
