My favorite prayer is the "Prayer to the Holy Cross" in the Russian Orthodox prayer book. Either that or the "Evening Hymn of the Greeks" that we sing at vespers.

There is no favorite prayer we Christians say. We pray to God something different everyday. God wants us to talk to Him from our hearts, not rattle off a bunch of words that are written that he has seen hundreds of times.

By the way, no offense, but if you are praying to a goddess you are not praying to the REAL God our Father. You are pretty much praying to satan. How do I know? Because I use to practice wicca and it almost destroyed me. It is in the Bible in Deuteronomy 18:9-14 Also, you are putting another god before our Lord God. If you don't believe this, just read the website below:

I like the Lord's Prayer and silent prayer, which is just looking to God for guidance and comfort w/out words. He already knows what you need.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
Now, and at the hour of our death

OR

St. Michael the Archangel
Defend us in battle
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray
And do thou, oh Prince of the Heavenly Hosts
By the power of God, thrust into Hell
Satan and all evil spirits
Who wander the world for the ruin of souls

Thy name is my healing, O my God, and remembrance of Thee is my remedy. Nearness to Thee is my hope, and love for Thee is my companion. Thy mercy to me is my healing and my succor in both this world and the world to come. Thou, verily, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

(Compilations, Baha'i Prayers, p. 85)

I say it whenever I am stressed and it brings me peace.

Mine might be :

"Please Lord, show Quiltingforever's depressed friend what plan you have for them, that they might not commit suicide; bring them out of their depression with Your Mighty hand.
By your Spirit, reveal the Truth of Jesus to Quiltingforever;
show her the Light and Truth that is not goddess, but GOD Almighty who cares for her."
