If god created life (and adam and eve) without life (and human) then why did god need to create jesus using mary womb to have a son? Could god just use the same method that god use to create life to create jesus, it still would be gods child.

I just can't imagine being chaste. Sex is a very powerful urge, like the way salmon swim up river to mate. And it always seems that religious institutions that condem sex are always being exposed as temples of 'sin' within. I doubt any religion could 'cure,' my desire, as I doubt that they could even curtail their own. How does one do that, subdue their biological drive. What could possibly be more enjoyable than sex?

I'm an Anglican who is getting a little tired of the blatant teachings contrary to the Bible on homosexuality, abortion, premarital sex, etc from the Episcopal clergy. I was actually raised Methodist but I don't how things have changed. Can a conservative find a home in Methodism? What do they say about things like abortion and premarital sex? (I know the easy answer is Southern Baptist or MegaChurch or whatever but I can't seem to wean myself away from the Mainline--I like the traditions and liturgy).

Why is it only Gods fault that people dont get what they pray for?
What have you done for him?
Have you come to no him?
Do what he askes of you?
Read the Bible?
Do you even use his name? (how are you to no some one personaly with out using a name?)
Why is it only when your life is bad that you turn to him..where are you the rest of the time?

Not trying to make any one mad..Just wondering why its Gods fault when your life doesnt go the way you want it to...

So judging by Pakistan's inferior human rights record, its lack of respect for democracy and the religious rights of non-Muslims, and the way it was created, does it have the right to exist, or should it go back to India?

(1) All Jews are officially banned from entering the country.
(2) Blood money, or death insurance, for a non-Muslim is less than blood money for a Muslim.
(3) Building churches, synagogues, or other non-Muslim houses of worship is a criminal offense; non-Muslim holy books in Arabic are confiscated; Preaching any religion other than Islam is punishable by death.
(4) Non-Muslims aren't allowed entry into Mecca and Medina because they're considered "impure."
(5) Some religious leaders think non-Muslims should be banned from the country, period.
(6) Non-Muslims aren't allowed citizenship.
(7) The United Nations has called its human rights record "extremely poor."
That sounds like an apartheid state to me. :-)

I've backslidden and I've made so many mistakes. 1) because I wasn't a servant of God anymore. 2) Because my aunt who lives in Haiti expects my dad to take care of her but my dad himself has his own problems, she sent bad luck to me and evil spirits to destroy me. Nothing I did worked and I ended up dead broke. I cried to God for forgiveness n help and when God showed that person who did that to me, I wasn't the same person anymore.
That's a long story, lets me be specific.
After many nights of prayers, God gave me power to rebuke these spirits, sent them back where they came from but God wouldn't help me financially not even $ to put gas. I couldn't bare anymore. 1 day i receive a credit card offer for my mom n i used it 2 survive. I was able 2 pay it off. Now, I get another in her name 2 join a good program that i know i will succeed in. R&S judged me that i sinned(check my last ?). I know 4 this is the only way 2 make up lost time.
What do u think?

I dont intend to be disrespectful but if a person likes to eat pork and does so without feeling any regret till the very end of life. He has done good deeds throughout his life, been honest and humble, paid charity, believed in God but not in any particular religionand has helped the needy. Will he still go to hell?

would you buy from them? The reason I ask is that several local firms in my Midwest U.S. hometown have Christian mottos on their storefronts and delivery trucks. Would it be wrong of me to avoid them and/or encourage their boycott by atheists/agnostics/freethinkers?
