Since GOD established a long time ago what we can expect from HIM, perhaps it would be better if we looked at what GOD expects from us in this year of 2007.

God is my All and All. I have come to know Him as my Healer, Deliverer, Protector, Shield, Buckler, Provider, King of Peace, oh the list could go on and on. He is all that and so very much more. He is my EVERYTHING. However, it is not so much as what I "expect" from Him as what do I strive to be to glorify and obey Him. He said in His Word that if I 'seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and it's Righteousness, all these things will be added unto me'. "These things" represent everything that I need. No matter what.He made the world and everything in it. So if I need anything, and I am blessed and highly favored in His sight, He will do it. The optional word is need. Some things that I may deem I 'need' may not be what is best for me. That's when God, in His Infinite Wisdom will not allow me to have it. He alone, knows what is best for me. Some when I don't get it, I have faith that later on down the line, He will let me see how that thing would have negatively affected me. May God Bless U.

the question should not be what should we expect from Him, but what does He expect from us. He already gave us life, eternity through Christ, joy unspeakable and full of glory- blessings innumerable even in the midst of hard times- what are we going to give back to Him. Will our lives be a spiritual act of worship that He deserves. God is not at our beck and call- we are His servants. God desires this from us-
Micah 6:8- "He has showed you, O man, what is good and what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and walk humbly with your God".

Great question. My answer to this would be "nothing." God has already done all he can for mankind through the sacrifice of his own-Jesus the Christ.

Why would anyone have expectations of a mythological character? Expectations of people are difficult enough to have come to fruition...much less entities that don't exist.

Miracles that earth would be a much safer place to live in.
