Western countries aren't Christian countries, because Christianity no longer influences government; Rather, they are countries with theoretically Christian majorities. Wars between Western countries, such as the World Wars, did not have religious pretexts, and therefore cannot be called Christian wars Ravar.
And Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of Islam and Muhammad...The home of Mecca and Medina...The historical root of all Arabs. If it doesn't represent 'true' Islam, what does?

What am I trying to achieve? I believe I'm asking a question, and making a point.

Why do Muslims always ask me that question?

Yes, some Muslims are extremists, but that's not the point. The point is that Saudi Arabia is an apartheid state. :-)

Well, Theo, that's the dictionary definition of apartheid, but the word's also been applied to Israel, whose issue is supporting Jews over non-Jews - a religious one. So if the UN is going to call Israel an apartheid state, why not put Saudi Arabia under the same light?

Buffy, it's quite ridiculous that you compare America to Saudi Arabia, but let's examine...I know the nature of Saudi Arabia's theocratic laws, and the problem probably lies right there. Again, I think the definition of an apartheid state has changed since the days of South Africa, because for the same reasons and in the same way Israel was called an apartheid state, Saudi Arabia can also be called one. It's clear that Saudi law promotes intensive and unique "religious" racism. In the US, blacks can be citizens, blacks can build NOI mosques and sing Black Church music, blacks can run for office, blacks can legally do anything WASPS can do. :-) The comparison is ludicrous. America is nothing like Arabia.

Apartheid was a unique situation in South Africa purely based on skin color/ethnicity.

The vicious rules imposed on "non-believers" in Saudi Arabia is just Islam.

Saudi Arabia is a theocratic state. The country is governed by the sharia(the Law), the Koran and the Hadith(Traditions.) In the past, most countries were theocratic or monarchical(kings & queens).

Apartheid(separateness) was a form of government in South Africa that enforced racial segregation. White people made themselves the rulers of black and mixed-race persons. It has been less than 50 years that a similar form of prejudice existed in the United States. Still, it is not unusual for people of different races and religions to be separated from the WASPS in the USA.

(I'm a Christian) I've asked Muslims, and I've heard even Muslims state that the government of Saudi Arabia is a poor example of what they believe. Just as many countries that call themselves "Christian" have no problem with slaughtering one another, in clear violation of Jesus command regarding the sword, and Pauls statement that we are not to have instruments of fleshly warfare.

Why is it not ok for Saudi to run their country as they see fit? Saudi is the only Muslim country who's government is based on Shariah Laws. (Islamic Laws) that come from ALLAH. Quit blaming Saudi and the rest of the Arab world for the USA's problems.
