When using Tarot Cards is there a specific way to shuffle them? I know this may be a dumb question, but I'm still a beginner. And I truely believe in these cards because I did the weekly reading today and everything was on the dot just about. Please if you have any helpful suggestions or ideas(Besides burning them! If you leave a post saying something about destroying my cards I will report you! Some people are just not open minded...I'm sorry, but it bugs me when people say to burn or destroy Tarot Cards, but I know it's their opinion) please tell me....thanks!

That's how often atheists think about God as they live their lives.

What does YOUR religion believe in? I ask this because I read that Saddam died with a Quran in his hands and I looked it up at dictionary.com to see what it was. It said "the sacred text of Islam, divided into 114 chapters, or suras: revered as the word of God, dictated to Muhammad by the archangel Gabriel, and accepted as the foundation of Islamic law, religion, culture, and politics."

So this makes me wonder who is Muhammad, do they too believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior and if there are other religions who base their beliefs off of HIM dying for our sins.

I would like to understand the beliefs of other religions.

I don't mean morally or acting like a Christian, I mean did he believe in the one and only God and his son Jesus?
Even though he destroyed innumerably many people's lives, and a lot of people rejoice his hanging, I kind of feel sorry he had to be hanged, with such terrible thoughts on his mind. He seems to be Christian, and if he repents for his sins, he should go to heaven. His last words were to God. I am not his supporter, but I don't know what side he was on spiritually.

Is there a correlation between Jewish Kabala beliefs and Masonic befiefs? If so, where & when were they produced(?); What country, year(s), physical location(s) such as monistaries, libraries, fortifications, islands, other secreted and protected locations. Who provided the locations and protections, if any? Can these two writings now be found in one complete document(s) today? If so, where would one look to research it?

Can't we all just get along?
Rodney King asked that question years ago. Now, I am reframing the issue by rewording the question.
Here is my little bit of poetry:
"The battles of ALL nations, races, sexes, creeds can CEASE
If what people really want in THIS WORLD TODAY is PEACE. "
Agree or Disagree? FINE. But tell me why.

I wonder if there is a connection. Does anyone think that his loving attitude is a reflection of Christian values?

I have had the benefit of having traveled the world, and have seen that good and evil transcends race, politics, and religion. While I understand that most religions claim to be “the one”, what bad can come from a universal tolerance of any teachings that inspire us to pursue a greater good? Better yet, what good can come from constant fighting?

I am British and live in the U.S I moved here in march. My husband of three years is American.
I miss my mom very much. She is 72. We are very close I call her every two days and we email a lot. We live din England for about two years after getting married. I just keep crying. I feel like I want to move back. My husband is wanting to stay here. I love him dearly but it doesn't change how I feel. He spent $2000 on my residency application. I am witing for my social security number so I can work but even with that most employers want to know how my English education compares with American. I cannot tell them as I do not know so I will have to pay to get it professionally translated.
Casn someone tell me why I feel like this. I have bi-polar by the way so that doesn't help. what do you think. Kind answers only please.

Did man actually evolve from an ape? If so, why is it that apes are not extinct? Why is it we still live in harmony with them? When will the rest of the apes evolve? I believe that God created the ape, just as he created man, the earth, and all the other animals. Was it not Noah that loaded two apes on the ark? Evolution actually sounds silly when you think about it. What do you believe?

Noah would get credit for discovering America instead of the vikings or Columbus. Noah could take credit for discovering the pacific ocean prior to Balboa in 1513.

Would they teach this "new" history in Kansas ? (for starters.)

OT, she'ole
NT, Hades/Hell

Also why would they call it Hades since this is obviously a carbon copy of the Greek afterlife?

If an idol is a false image of God, is it worse to have a limited view of God in the form of a statue... or ... a limited view of God as something alloof and unforgiving and how do you get a true view of God.

(2Chronicles 19:2) And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, = = Shouldest thou help the ungodly, = = and love them that hate the LORD? Therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

The WORD does not Teach TOLERANCE according to this verse and many others!

Why then do so many SAY, that GOD is tolerant of Other Religions?

Thanks, RR
