Respect is not something that I could easily give to anyone whom I do not personally know.

Although, I do respect anyone who can explain their own beliefs and answer questions in a way that does not intentionally offend or disrespect another person. Know the reasons for why you believe what you do, be able to explain them in a very friendly and respectful manner, and I will respect that quality within the person regardless of their beliefs.

I do, however, care about everyone equally. ^_^ So, respect is not to be confused with love or compassion.

Blessings and Love

I highly respect all people even atheists and people of other religions and thogh I am a devout cristian I do not throw away solid logic reasoning there is no need to. The Bible has never contradicted science it is in harmony with it. Thogh there are somethngs that must be accepted by faith (miracles and signs) there is no reason to leave your brain in the BIble. Scrutinize everithing exept that whitch is explicitly instructed to be belived by faith alone. Therefore thogh I may not agree with many atheists there is no reason to not respect their solid logic reasoning in non-religious matters.

I can say that I respect all those who write in to "Answers". The only time that I find it hard to respect or support anyone is when they refer to name calling, profanity or disrepecting others. That is no way to get others to listen or understand your perspective.

So, whether they are Atheists or Christians, I will respect them. When they start trouble for others, it is bad for everyone regardless of their faith commitments.

I respect more the athesist users since they seem to use logic and have a sense of humor, whereas most Christian or Muslim want to only push their views and copy & paste verses. when was the last time an athesist was in a war? Bush- Christian, Saddam- Muslim, Hitler -Christian etc.

Because the scriptures teach that those who deny His (G-d's) existence are fools. Why should I as an intelligent human being have respect for a fool? Let any Athiest worth his salt prove there is no G-d.
