I have noticed that in many typed text instances where God is mentioned I often see it typed out as G-D. What is the purpose of this? Does typing out GOD as G-D keep people from being offended or what? And those who would get offended, would they not know G-D was GOD anyway?

The new friend says he can make good or bad things happen with the aid of nature, spirits and the universe. My new friend is a little scary at times but is extremely intense and determined. I cannot seem to say no. We are going to a nearby mountain lake this weekend to meet the others. I am awfully uneasy.

We have put our faith in the Lord to take care of us. Now my boyfriend will have to pawn his guitar so we can pay rent. What are we suppose to do? We both work, I work 40 hrs. a week, he works for himself doing carpentry work, Honestly. We tithe, we give every week faithfully. We thought we were doing the right thing, now he wonders what he has done wrong, he says, am I not praying right, I feel foolish for counting on God to help me with this, I hate to hear that. I try to have childlike faith and know the Lord is taking care of me.

Can you honestly tell me that there is a higher being? Without lying to me and saying something like, "I can feel it in my heart" which of course is just a bunch of feelings that are made up by your conscience being. so tell me, is there a God?

I've noticed Peter Griffen from Family Guy keeps on making veiled references to the Hebrew text of Mathew's Gospel. Could the animators be talking about the second coming?
