Can you give an explanation for the misinterpretaion (by Joseph Smith) of the Book of Abraham, which was actually translated later by French translators to be an Egyptian book of the dead?

Can you give an explanation of the supposed ancestry between Indians and Jews, but yet there is no DNA evidence linking the Jews and Indians, but there is DNA evidence linking the Indians to an Asian heritage.

or is it just how people who holds science in a very high esteem think that way? isn't science only a study why things came into being, or why things are the way they are, but not really meant to discredit the existence of God? or am i wrong in the way i understand what science is all about?

I do because, he fulfilled prophecy and he has become my best friend supernaturally.

Isaiah 52:13-53:12 predicted 700bce "He shall be exalted. First he will be marred more than any man. He will be the arm of the Lord revealed. He will be despised and rejected. All we like sheep have gone astray, and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all. He will lay down his life as a lamb to make atonement for our sins. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich."
Some say this or that-some say the bible was tampered with-but if you despised and rejected one-wouldnt you take this part out of the Jewish Scriptures?

He spoke from heaven and said "I love you, and stand at your heart door and knock, if you let me in to forgive your sins, then I will become your friend." Revelation 1:1&3:19&20

I prayed, " Messiah forgive my sins, I am sorry, help me do better and come into my heart and be my friend, amen"

Why do you love Messiah Jesus?

i can see no evidence for god or for the nonexistence of god.
my reponse to existence is; astounded wonderment at the sublime complexity and sheer "isness" of even one fragment of sea spray cast up into the air by a rocky shore.

i dont want my "position" to be defined by the the absence or presence of deity, but by the existence of my wonderment.

The Bible: the testament of Chrstianity, confuses me. It was written by man, not god. Jesus was already dead when it was compiled, John the Baptist didn't put the final touches on it, It isn't bound in the skin of baptised babies. Why do we care so much about what a book says? And why are so many people so determined to uphold the unreliable words of man? I'm confused, please help.

Russia? They hold their observance on January 5th and is one of the reasons why the Eastern Church split with Rome.

They fear the unnatural influences of the western churches since the fall of Communism. The Russian Orthodox was tolerated by the government, as long as they didn’t cause problems. Since Christmas is not the Birthday of Christ, wouldn't it be easy to just adopt their way of doing things in the country, instead of trying to change people’s minds about it?
