Buddhism is a part of Hinduism. Since it was created from it . And the founder 'Gautam Buddha' was Hindu before. Shared with the Hindu tradition 'ॐ' in Buddhism is written as '?' and pronounced as Aum. But is same as that of a Hindu. "Om Mani Padme Hum" is the mantra instead.
Similarly letter om is being written in different forms within Hinduism which varies from regions to regions and traditions

According to wikipedia the meaning or philosophy appears to be the same, while the difference lies in the appearance of the symbol
