Archeology has proven the existence of Jesus and most of the bible.
Science has just finished showing how the Red Sea parted for Moses and then drowned the pursuing Egyptians.
They have just started on Noah and will soon explain how he built the Ark, the Egyptians 5000 years ago had a boat to carry statues that could carry a 747 and 500 elephants.
Physics has proven some of Genesis and Quantum Physics is looking into it also.
Most scientist feel there has to be God to explain everything because they have realized it's beyond the abilities of science. That's probably what has caused their fascination with the bible for the last 5 - 10 years.

The only proof for the existence of Jesus is the result of His coming. You can prove the existence of a cause by the result. From an obscure part of Galilee, a new religion was born, whose spiritual impulse made many thousands sacrifice their property, lives and family members in the cause of one "Jesus of Nazareth". People who had spent their lives worshipping stone statues, Roman and Greek gods and goddesses, who had believed that might was right and one's own interests came first; these people were transformed by a new message called Christianity. They became benefactors of the poor, upholders of justice, opposers of war and bloodshed. This spiritual impulse does not come from a fabrication or a non-existent founder. It comes from a real individual, whom those followers loved.
This is not just a proof that Jesus existed, but it proves that He was the Messiah, the Logos, the eternal Christ which appears in every age, the Return of Noah, Abraham and Moses. The same can be said of Muhammad. He too transformed the lives of thousands of ignorant pagans, who considered women as nothing, who loved bloodshed and cruelty. They became a community where justice reigned, where women's rights were upheld, where the poor received charity, where science flourished at a time when Europe was in the Dark Ages. This proves that Muhammad existed and that Muhammad was the Messiah, the Logos, the eternal Christ returned again.
The same can be said of Baha'u'llah, the Manifestation of God for this day and age. He too has created a community which is the most diverse on the whole planet, where people of formerly opposing creeds, races and nationalities have come together, where a community structure has been built that could never have otherwise been imagined. Baha'u'llah is the same Logos, the same Christ, returned in the Glory of the Father, in fulfilment of all past Dispensations. The Bible is not required to prove either the truth of Jesus, Muhammad or Baha'u'llah. Reason alone is sufficient to prove their existence and their truth. "Ye shall know them by their fruits" was Jesus's promise. Their fruits prove their truth.
The existence of God also does not require the Bible to be proved. It is an obvious fact. The existence of a creation, requires the existence of a single creator. All CONTINGENT things have a cause, so there must exist an ultimate non-contingent Cause which is not in itself caused. The existence of imperfection requires the existence of something which is absolutely perfect. The existence of the limited, requires the existence of the limitless. If we have cold, then we know that heat also must exist. If we have evil, we know that good also must exist. If we have darkness, we know that light also must exist. The negative requires the positive. The created requires the creator. To those who believe in God, His existence is an obvious fact. It cannot be proved by the Bible or by scientific methods. Science deals with the physical, the created, so it cannot describe the creator, the non-physical, the non-material.

Yes, I'll do it right here.
If there isn't a God, where did all matter come from (It doesn't reproduce and can not come from nothing, according to science)
The Big Bang goes against the laws of science and nature. It takes more faith that matter showed up for no reason in a big bang than it does just to believe God made it for a reason.
"A Skeptic's Search for God" by Ralph O. Muncaster gives evidence for the existence of God if you need a better argument. It proves that He exist without using my argument above, which I think is good enough.
So now that a God exist, showing that Jesus exist is a little harder but can be done.
Josephus, a historian in 93 A.D., published "Antiquities of the Jews" which mentions Jesus twice.
I started to do the whole 9-yards when I ran into a website.
Read this site to get other accounts of Jesus besides the Bible:
http://www.ucg.org/booklets/JC/dieandlive_sources.htm
(I don't agree with the whole website on all their views, but this page is a good reference)

Good question. Frankly, no one can prove anything, unless the person who is considering the truth is willing to accept even a sliver of faith ("faith" in the non-religious sense). I.E. I have "faith" that my chair will indeed hold the weight of my body, vice collapsing. I base that faith on the fact that 99.9% of the time, chairs support my body weight. But I would've never been able to test that belief, unless I had given opportunity to actually sit in a chair. Sorry to be complicated, but you ask a good question...one w/ potential complications.
Think of it this way, if "Jesus" appeared to you in your living room, and you spoke w/ him, and you shook hands, would you still believe? Or would friends/family convince you that you hallucinated? The bottom line is that you have to establish what the standard is for meeting your "proof". How much "proof" does one need. What you might call proof, another person may scoff and say, "well, that doesn't PROVE it beyond a shadow of a doubt". The point being, that all things require even a sliver of faith. Whether for issues concerning Jesus. Or concerning if you believe that you winter jacket will keep you warm enough in a storm.
One final analogy...let's say someone said that they don't believe that bananas existed. Without getting even deeper into this question, you could have them taste/touch/see/smell a banana, but then they could use the "is it a dream or reality?" argument (a la Matrix). Or like little kids, when they cover their eyes w/ their hands, because they can't see you, they actually think that they are hiding. So the ignorantly assume that their perspective is the only one, and therefore it MUST be true. The point is that before anything can be "proven", one must establish the requirements of proof. I'm not the size of a molecule, so i can't personally shrink myself and verify nuclear theory. However, i take Einstein's word for it. Based upon his reputation, the results of his experiments, and the unfortunate bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Sorry if complicated. Hope this helps.

Sometimes atheist assert that there is no proof that God exists. The only problem is that an atheist cannot logically make that claim.
In order to state that there is no proof for God's existence, the atheist would have to know all alleged proofs that exist in order to then state that there is no proof for God's existence. But, since he cannot know all things, he cannot logically state there is no proof for God's existence.
At best, an atheist can only state that of all the alleged proofs he has seen thus far, none have worked. He could even say that he believes there are no proofs for God's existence. But then, this means that there is the possibility that there is a proof or proofs out there and that he simply has not yet encountered one.
Nevertheless, if there was a proof that truly did prove God's existence, would the atheist be able to accept it given that his presuppositions are in opposition to the existence of God? In other words, given that the atheist has a presuppositional base that there is no God, in order for him to accept a proof for God's existence, he would have to change his presuppositional base. This is not easy to do and would involve a major paradigm shift in the belief structure of the atheist. Therefore, an atheist is presuppositionally hostile to any proofs for God's existence and is less likely to be objective about such attempted proofs.

Sure can, I won't use one verse, & when I am done, I want you to disprove that God is not real, Ready, No Verses, What can make a Flower Bloom in the spring & die in the winter, What makes a tree bloom in the spring & go to sleep in the winter, what makes your body replaced each cell that dies everyday with new cells, Can you explain the Human body & how it is an amazing piece of flesh, What makes the earth rotate as it does for millions of yrs. & how are every planet & stars placed in the sky so perfect & you don't see nothing holding it up., Why does your immune system kills germs, Why is it with some flowers that close their petals at evening & re-open in the morning, & why do some flowers close their petals in the hot sun to protect themselve from the heat of the day, & why isn't there one snow flake alike, How many more do you want. Now did I use the Bible. Now it is your turn.

Of course, there are many other references. Jesus was an actual man, many other history books from that time make reference to him. It'll also be easier to find him in other references because he was easily the most influential man who ever lived. Also, existence of God can be proven through the creation of the earth and universe. If you look closely, you'll find that there are too many coincidences, things falling exactly into place. There had to be a Designer, and therefore a God I hope this answers your question

Yes!
The Romans kept very accurate records of each province they were in charge of and sent those records to Rome each year.
The Crucifixion of Jesus is recorded in them along with the troubles that Pilate was dealing with in Judea at the time. They speak of the leaders of the Jewish synagogue at the time and the trouble they were giving Rome.
They tell of how Pilate wanted out of Judea and Rome told him that he couldn't leave until they found a stooge to replace him.
Dr Paul Maier, Prof of ancient History at Western Mich Univ. Has written many books on the subject. He has also translated many of the old records from Josephus and Eusebius, who were the record keepers of the time for the Romans.
His book "Pontius Pilate" is a story of the life of Pilate. The facts are all there he just made up a fictional dialog to make the story readable.

I GIVE YOU THE HUMAN BRAIN
It absorbs 40MBs per second of data while awake. That's 2 terabytes of data a day.
At night, it sorts and stores that data through the creation of new chemical bonds and synaptic connectors.
There is enough available space in the brain that it would take over 10,000 to create enough synaptic connectors to fill it.
If there was no God who created man to live forever on Earth, than what possible evolutionary pressure could result in this type fo development? Did humans once live for 10,000 years, and we have since de-evolved? Though evolution does exist in God's creation, to have evolved from nothing, pressures have to have been in place to necessitate the need for this kind of capacity.

I had a friend that said she uses 3 Bibles:
- the 1st was the book
- the 2nd was Nature
- the 3rd was the innocent heart of men and women (Their inner most desire)
God is to big to fit within the covers of a book. The Bible is a guide, not the final experience we aim for.
