Just want to know what faith/religion to you currently follow or practice. If your agnostic or atheist please let me know as well!
Try to be detailed about what exact sect or branch of that faith you are if possible. For example don't say Catholic say Roman Catholic, don't say Protestant say Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Evangelical, or don't just say Muslim say Sunni or Shiite. Personally I was originally raised a Roman Catholic but gave up my faith (for numerous reasons) to practice Wicca and I'm so satisfied with my new religion! Either way I respect all religions or no religion at all but I just want to know your faith for my own curiosity. Thanks for any answers I get!

Has anyone here ever been so fed up with his or her original faith/religion that they have looked for an alternative religion in replace of it or no religion at all. If so I'd really like to know your story. Please write as long an answer as you want because I promise to read all of them and not be bias!

In Exodus 35:2, god says: "For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death. "

Matthew 5:17-18 Jesus says "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."

In light of these two quotes, why don't you think people who work on the Sabbath should be killed? Why don't you think adulterers should be stoned, etc.

My cousin is schizophrenic and a Christian. She suffers from visual, auditory and tactile hallucinations, and is a raging marijuana addict. She says that she reads the Bible and draws strength and hope from it, but at the same time she thinks that her faith may be making her illness worse, as she reports seeing devils and peoples' faces contort into demons. I know religion is sometimes part of treatment, but could it make the mental illness worse?

I'm so very confused.

I believe in God, in a gut-instinct sort of way. Whether that has been bred in me from being raised in a Christian society or whatever, it doesn't really matter. Fact is, that's what my heart believes. And try as I might, I can't feel any kind of similar connection to a Goddess.

Trouble is, how do I reconcile my belief in God with all the problems I have with Christianity? And why am I continually drawn to Paganism??

People who understand the word and live loosly as an individual of the world truly causes true believers to create patterns of confusion in their own mental thoughts of the church.

umption? They are debating now whether cloners should have to label the packages. They are going for no labels. How do you feel about the gov. making your decisions for you by genetic engineers, who sock the money to the government, to make decisions go thier way? Don't tell me this is the wrong catagory as Americans are christian voters, and the "what should I do guy" would be out in the cold.

As part of my daily routine, I like to visit a couple of sites that give me a few daily scripture readings with a meditation or reflection on the readings. Two that I like are http://www.wau.org/meditations/meditations.asp and http://www.creighton.edu/CollaborativeMinistry/daily.html

These are catholic sites. Are there any similar non-Catholic sites?

John 14:12
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

That people hearts are getting colder and colder; or as the Bible put it "the love of many will wax cold"

That their are now RFID chips that can track people and things. They already put them in wild animals to track them;and I saw a commercial so pet owners can put them in their pets. How long you think till they become mandatory for humans?

He's a RELIGIOUS FANATIC person, always assume he's right all the times, never accept opinions and mistakes, he thought that we crave and crazy for his best relatioship which he thinks he's the only one can provide but he never offer his good friendship, he's hypocrite and pretending that he cares, he thought that we're miserable at all the times by telling that "u may say that I'm wrong but can't lie to God", he used to predict what people feel without knowing the truth and facts, he always thought that someone's imitating him and competing with him, he always wanted to be the winner for any situations without considering his mistakes, he spots others' mistakes most of the time, he judges others, he thought that he's an ANGEL and we're the devil, he thought that he knows everything, he thought that he's precious, when we care he said we're ruining his privacy, when we're too good he said we shouldn't have, he pretends to forget about the past by abiding to the bible, he's a pyschopet!

I've noticed that some Christians like to play the sweet God helpers on-line and they talk without animosity but in real life they get embarrassed at going to Church and praying to God. Some of them even talk arrogantly to everyone.

If someone's house was on fire and a Christian was the only one to witness it, would the Christian try and save a life?

I'm not saying I'm not like that, but Christians including me (yes, I'm a Christian too) are usually not like what we are in this forum.

in response to my last question someone said "Hebrews 11:1-Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
it says "EVIDENCE of things not seen"
so what is this evidence, can you touch it, smell it, hear it, taste it, or can we only detect it with instruments like a geiger counter or phenolphtalien?
