As part of my daily routine, I like to visit a couple of sites that give me a few daily scripture readings with a meditation or reflection on the readings. Two that I like are http://www.wau.org/meditations/meditations.asp and http://www.creighton.edu/CollaborativeMinistry/daily.html

These are catholic sites. Are there any similar non-Catholic sites?

The kind of sites I am looking for would have a scripture reading for the day PLUS a reflection or meditation on that reading.

Try the Focus on Family website, with James Dobson.

also, if you're interested in some hardcopy meditation sources, try the writings of C.S.Lewis. He is profound, but in a way that the common layman can understand. The Four Loves is one of my favorites.

About the best that you can get is Oswald Chambers "My Utmost for His Highest". Try it.Also Spurgeon's "Morning and Evening".

Try beliefnet (just google it, I think it's beliefnet.com). They have a wide variety of daily meditations for all religions.

There is a Bible that you could buy called the One Year Bible. It is separated by date and, after one year, you will have read the entire Bible.
