Should he quit struggle and live with what he got or should he die?

The Earth is slowing down
At the equator the Earth is travelling at about 1000 miles per hour.
The Earth slows down by 1/1000 second per day.
The Earth used to spin faster!
Leap seconds are added every 18 months.
If the Earth is only 6000 years old there is no problem.
If the Earth is billions of years old – that is a major problem.
Earth would then have been spinning much faster!
Days and nights would have elapsed much faster!
Centrifugal force would have been a big problem.
The winds would have been 5000 miles per hour.

Seriously think about it.

Trees exist. Christians believe they exist. Atheists believe they exist. Trees work in a certain way that is agreed upon by both Christians and atheists. Trees, in addition to other organisms, provide us with the oxygen necessary for life.

We all agree on all of these things.

Can't we just enjoy them?

Why argue about what put them here?

It's a bloody stupid argument.

Why have Katyusha, Derek J, and others said that Bush is quoted in news sources as saying that God told him to invade Iraq?

Read the news stories carefully, folks -- they say that Palestinian leaders have claimed that Bush told them this in secret meetings.

There's a huge difference!

The White House has denied the claim made by the Palestinian leaders.

"Bush said God told him to invade" is much, much different from "Palestinian leaders claim that Bush said God told him to invade."

Bush's opponents are entitled to their opinions -- but not their own facts.

This is the topic for my final philosophy paper and I would like everyone's opinion. Just yes or no and a short reason why you answered that way will be good. I'm doing this poll to get a general concensus of how people would answer this. Thanks for your help and time.

1)They say that God created two human beings in order to populate the Earth, but also teaches us that incest is wrong
2)They say evolution is "just a theory" and "there isn't enough evidence to support it" instead posing a different idea that is even more ridiculous and has NO evidence to support it.
3) They say that "creationist scientists are working to prove the story of creation", yet SEVENTY-TWO Nobel Laureates compiled a brief for the supreme court explaining why creationism is NOT science (no creationist has ever received a Nobel award)
4)They say that creationist scientists are everywhere in science teaching the "truth", yet less than ONE-HALF OF ONE PERCENT of scientists consider creationism to be a viable theory.

This is all I have so far, does anyone else have anything to add to the list?

(And before any creationist comes along and tells me I am making up my facts, here is the link:)
