IS the reason you don't believe in God do to the reason you don't want there to be one?

Earthquakes, Tsunamis, war in iraq, unable to tell the difference in the seasons (such as it being warm in december), soon you will see some form of universal number that will define every person on earth.. not social security numbers, not credit cards.. but an implant at birth.. something to control terrorism... does anyone else see these things?

I am currently searching for information pertaining to current practices of Celtic Religion. Most of the searches I have run direct me to sites with little to no information on current practices. Instead I find old mythology sometimes tainted with a hatred towards anything slightly Pagan. The other sites I turn up are for current organizations that provide a 30+ list of books on everything historical but nothing about current practices. Thank you for you help!!!

Does it ever cross your mind that possibly, just possibly, one of them is right? And that the penalty for not believing the one that was right, the penalty not only fits the crime of not believing;but the penalty is infinitly worse than evan a child with an active imagination can imagine?

Psalms 53:1-The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

Do you ever wonder if you should second guess your decion there is no God?

A few years ago I met a guy who helped me to realise I was a witch by nature and started me on the right way in studying etc. unfortunately we lost touch when he moved to the states and I have become a bit lapsed though still study witchcraft, paganism and the occult in general. I am Wiccan by heart (faith). Was just wondering if theres anyone out there willing and able to teach/guide me further. I'm also interested in developing my natural psychic gifts. If anyone could help with either or both it would be wonderful.

Curious.. is there anyone here on the board that may not be classified as "Christian" but that is genuinly interested in knowing more and making an educated decision on weather to believe or not?
Im not trying to convert anyone, I am just reading through a lot of the questions today and it seems like it is about 50% athiest ,25% snarkers (SPAM) and the other 25% undecided or other.

Where do you stand and why?

Happy New Year! :)

Sometimes we cannot seem to see that God is blessing us. Health and financial issues can get in the way. Evil in the world- etc. I choose to still believe that God is good and that Jesus saves us. WHY? because I know that one day I will see Him face to face- and the pain of this earth will be no longer. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? We must learn to worship God for WHO He is , not just for what He does!

Just wondering, because they are a few million years old, and well, according to Christains, the Earth is only about 5000 years old.

The Bible was written before Dinosaurs were really discovered, so it makes sense that this story wouldn't think that there was any evidence of life before God "created" humans. That totally blows the cover off the thing, doesn't it? It was also before any scientific evidence of evolution, because back then, they really didn't have the technology. It's such a BS story, and I don't get how people can believe in it.

One other thing. In the Bible, God and Jesus work with people, they talk to them, they do things for them, they help them. Now-a-days, it's seems as if there is no God or Jesus talking to us, or helping us. Have they given up on us? If they were so willing to participate with humans back then, why don't they do it now? God sent angels down that talked to people and such, but nothing now?

I think the "Bible" is what it says, "Buy Bull"
