Absolutely, there is a battle going on for the souls of man. Satan is leading it on one side, and God on the other. Satan comes in many forms to deceive, not because he loves anyone , but because he hates God so much, and wants to take down as much of God's creation as he can. Satan doesn't care WHAT people believe, to pick ANY religion, but the true one. In his eyes, then, he will have won. He doesn't even care about the satanists that worship him so much, as long as they are going to hell with him. This is temporary, and not to be feared, as we know the outcome. There are WAY too many prophecies in the bible that have come true to the exact minute detail, for this one to be any different. He will pay for his crimes against humanity, and NOT win in the end. He thought he won when Jesus was killed, but lost that battle also. Ever wonder about the height of the battle over religions, etc in the world, and even on Yahoo answers? Why SUCH A big deal?? Why atheists get SO worked up over a god they supposedly don't believe in? Its all part of the battle. Don't be deceieved, and ask for protection and wisdom. God will give it.

Yes there is spiritual warfare going on as we speak. We are to put on our spiritual armor which is the word of God to protect us.

There is absolutely no doubt about this whatsoever. For the time being however, it certainly does appear that the angels of darkness have the upper hand, until The Lord Jesus Himself shall return with His vast celestial army, to defeat and imprison them once and for all.

Yes my brother, there is a spiritual battle going on around us that we cannot see thank God. Most people are not aware of this. While we go on living our lives in boogie wonderland there is a spiritual battle going on around us. Can you imagine if we were able to see it with our physical eyes? Oh my goodness! But to answer your question yes I believe.

What happens if the angels lose? How does that fit in with how a person conducts themselves? If it's left up to angels, why the need to tell humans anything?

What do you mean by spiritual warfare? Personally I think the spiritual war was fought at Calvary, and Jesus said "It is finished". We are told to rest in Christ.
