yes, we don't deserve the blessings that we already receive. only because of his mercy and grace he blesses us, not because of our own merit.

Well, I can't really answer your question because God can not lie and he nver goes ack on his word so what you are asking is an impossibility....
BUT I do know what you mean about sometimes it is hard to see the blessings.... so I try and look at it this way... today Dec 29th there are people that are not here with us that had they had a closer walk with God the devil would never have been able to destroy them. I am a blessing and blessed because I am still here.
I am also blessed each morning that I wake up... there are those that went to bed last night fully expecting to wake up that didn't.
When I drive today, I am blessed, because I am home safely at the end of the day when others who were doing the same thing were in a fatal car accident.
See.. you CAN find blessings wherever you look :)

America is on a course of denying Jesus Christ and removing His name from everything. The power of the Holy people is being shattered. Israel reached a point where God stopped blessing them and let Nebuchadnezzer destroy Jerusalem and carry them off captive to Babylon. Israel denied God and worshiped idols. What is your idol? TV, Sports, Internet - what do you put before God? However, with Israel God saved a remnant. You are so right - we must worship God for Who He is. America needs more of Him and not less of Him. How can we deny the One who loves us the most?

This blessing thing - what is it or where is it. Am I blessed because I was not in the 9-11 disaster?? Am I blessed because I was not on the ferry that went down?? Am I blessed because I have a good physical body and some of my friends have had serious surgeries and are partially crippled??

Yes, I would. However, being granted eternal life, with the life we were really meant to live, will never cease to be a blessing to me. That said, God is not obligated to bless us all the time. Jesus spoke of hard times, when following him. It is not unheard of. I agree, worship him for who is , not what he does.

Good point. God's existence does not depend on whether or not we believe in Him. We don't control the universe. We're just a few microbes flying around on a speck of dust.
But we do have free will, and have to take responsibility for our own actions.

1 Corinthians 10:12-13..Consequently let him that thinks he is standing beware that he does not fall. No temptation has taken YOU except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let YOU be tempted beyond what YOU can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for YOU to be able to endure it.
Romans5:3-4.. And not only that, but let us exult while in tribulations, since we know that tribulation produces endurance;  endurance, in turn, an approved condition; the approved condition, in turn, hope,

when the state legislatures pass civil laws enforcing sunday worship God will remove His blessing from the earth. The 4 winds of Heaven will be let loosed, and the 7 last plagues will begin. My only safety will be with Him.

If we only expect God to bless us in the good times, how are we expected to grow? James says consider it a joy when we are faced with tests, for that is when our faith grows.

Outstanding statement. As long as we sincerely trust and obey our Lord, He will keep and protect us. Personally, I see times of great trouble ahead in the near future. The Lord may ask of us that we suffer for Him, even to the point of torture, and execution, even as He endured for us. That's what being a Christian is all about.
