Proverbs 9:10 - the fear of the lord is the beginning of knowledge. It's a reverent, fear out of respect. Exactly, he is the creator and the potter, the clay is subject to what it is created for. We shouldn't fear in a scared sense, escaping or hiding as Adam did when he sinned, but instead be reverent and thankful that we won't have to endure or see His wrath when it is revealed. Jesus is coming back as judge this time, he's already completed the savior role.

His potential is dangerous. But His character is love. But he's not ambiguous. You can't be just/fair AND holy at the same time. If you're holy, then you've gotta punish evil. And not allow it (whether puny-minded humans agree w/ your timeframe or not). You can delay punishment. Or provide a sacrifice of your own to take your punishment. What good is a law that doesn't define what "wrong" is? Furthermore, the punishment is set BEFORE the law is broken. So He says, "Do this (what is right...insert appropriate concept). If you don't obey His laws, (whether moral or physical, i.e. gravity), there is a consequence. But He loves His creations, and gives us a will, and a brain, to hopefully choose the correct/better decision. So following God's laws accesses His favor. Disobeying will eventually lead to punishment. But this is where He AGAIN shows His love thru concepts like "mercy" and "grace" (Christian-ism type words). i.e. the judge who's son is caught speeding. the judge makes the punishment of a $1000 fine, but then takes off his robe and pays it.
helpful analogy: are you "dangerous" to your pet hamster? sure, in the sense that you have the "power" to significantly affect it's existence. However, hopefully, you will care for it. But if it keeps biting you, after 10 years, are you still going to care for it? How much more God cares for us, in His patience. But eventually He has to enforce His laws. Otherwise He's just a cosmic pushover. The difference between you and I, and the hamster, is that we have the ability to grasp this concept. The hamster doesn't. Likewise God GAVE us the ability to grasp this concept. You and I cannot grant this understanding to the hamster, even if it would make all parties involved....their existences easier.

Depends on what you mean by danerous. I know my God is a loving God. He said in the bible he forgives 7 time 70. I would say that is pretty forgiving. Don't you? I know that my God is meriful God. That why he sent his only son to die. For us sinners. And to give everlasing life with
him in heaven. But if you don't accept him. Then you run the chance of going the other place. Where ever we go after we die up or down. It will be eternal. I have read in the bible. He also say in the bible. Do not test me. I don't want test God. That has created every human being on this earth. That has created everything that you can think of. I also know by reading in the bible. He has warned nations time and time again. To stop doing what there doing. And suddenly he wiped them out.
Sodom gahmora for example..
The fish can't even survive there

I am the potter and the clay-I shape my own destiny. Hopefully God will be pleased with the end result.

God doesn't mess around, all we have to do is read the bible to know that He is God and should be feared. Noah's ark, and other incidences throughout the history of mankind's relationship with God shows us that He is consistant with His laws, and the consequences of His laws and we are very foolish if we think He is not.

God is not dangerous, he is a loving, kind and forgiving God.
Always fear him like a storm, and never question his works, his mind is above human minds.

Fictional characters from middle eastern tales and legends are not dangerous.
What some men do with them , pretending to act in their name etc...is dangerous indeed.
