The Earth is slowing down
At the equator the Earth is travelling at about 1000 miles per hour.
The Earth slows down by 1/1000 second per day.
The Earth used to spin faster!
Leap seconds are added every 18 months.
If the Earth is only 6000 years old there is no problem.
If the Earth is billions of years old – that is a major problem.
Earth would then have been spinning much faster!
Days and nights would have elapsed much faster!
Centrifugal force would have been a big problem.
The winds would have been 5000 miles per hour.

Anyone can google the earth spinning and read that andymcj66 is right! To say it has nothing to do with evolution is ridiculous.Evolution needs more than 6000 years. I was just demonstrating that both sides of the camp can be a little uppity when their theory is questioned..and the atheists are no different that the fundies...gee people are funny...lol

This is old stuff I heard a guy named Jim Hopley talk about this years ago. The problem is that you are assuming that all changes are constant that the earth slows down at a constant rate for a billon years however there are a multitude of physical factors involved here. The earth is but one object in the solar system and its movement is effected by other objects and their movement and position. You do not have mathematical evidence to support this theory. The idea that the earth is only 6000 years old has been disproven by science through carbon dating and the study of archelogy. As someone else mentioned there are documents and cultures that have history that predates 6000 years. Westerners are ethnocentric and tend to think only our culture mattered. You are being sold a lie here

So what if the winds were 5000 miles per hour? There was no life capable of complaining about it for more than four billion years. What you say doesn't actually pose a problem for the theory that the earth is 4.7 billion or so years old. It's also probably not true, but I'm not going to waste my time correcting you when your suggestion doesn't mean anything.
Also that question has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with evolution.

A dude 6000 years old come on that would be 4000 BC right?
You might want to read a book or two on Astro physics first then read a history book.
We have cultures that had calenders long before that time and they wrote down there history as far back as 10,000 BC
It was a nice thought but all of your stuff you wrote was written by a hack that never read a book in his life and has been confirmed as a hoax.

> "evolutionist have self assurance that people don't have a soul, and spirit and that we are thoroughly by twist of destiny formed by twist of destiny suitable?" No. [a million] no field of technological expertise, evolution or in any different case, can remark on the existence of the soul. The soul, if it exists, is a non-actual phenomenon, and is consequently no longer open to study with the aid of technological expertise. [2] evolution is *no longer* "threat" or "twist of destiny", it relatively is a technique guided with the aid of organic determination, it is punctiliously no longer random. > "how do they clarify guilt? and saddness? and happiness?" thoughts are an important characteristic of our brains' function. we are social animals, so thoughts of guilt, etc. are component of that socialisation (surely defined with the aid of evolution). And happiness/unhappiness/ etc. are additionally explainable as motivational drives for steerage us in direction of (evolutionarily) effective behaviour. If we did no longer experience chuffed or unhappy, there could be no reason to act particularly techniques. > "those are not any purposes of what we are able to be sure or clarify." Sorry, yet sure they are!

The moon plays a big part in what your describing, it used to be closer and is constantly drifting away. And as it does our rotation will slow down more and more.
I read something about it before that said our days would be extremely long if we didn't have a moon, it's gravity jerks us around with it..

The "leap second" wasn't added because of the earth's slowing rotation but because the earth doesn't rotate exactly once in 24 hours so get the facts straight if you please. Your point is real rubbish-the slow down in rotation has actually taken billions of years PROVING that the earth isn't 6000 years old, and is the result of topographical and climate changes that need eons of time to occur. Why do you lot get it wrong every time?

If this was true then cosmologists would have a great deal to say about it. Unfortunately for you, it's not true.
It's typical creationist crap, like their BS about the Sun shrinking rapidly. It's all propaganda disguised as science.

All you're demonstrating is that when someone gives incorrect information someone's going to find fault with it.

It's a stupid argument and those "facts" are equally stupid. You're taking a snapshot in time and applying it to all time.
Most things have a rhythm. If you took a picture of a heart between beats and showed it to someone they would probably think it wasn't moving.
Stop the rubbish.

Why are you not asking this in "Science and Mathematics"? Oh, of course, you are not interested in the real answer.
What has your question got to do with evolution?
