Every culture believes their god has designated them as his chosen people. Just more evidence for god being a man-made concept.

Absolutely not. God loves all of hs/her children no matter what religion or language, or ethnic heritage.

The problem is that scriptures are divinely inspired, and then someone wanting power over their brothers and sisters gets the ide; Let's take this as the LITERAL word of God; then the wars and persecution began

well, the Jews think they are God's chosen ones, and some of them think they can do no wrong. Some (maybe most) muslims think God favors the Arabic language, going so far as to say God won't hear prayer unless it's in Arabic.
I think God listens to us all, and looks on the heart and intentions more than nationality or language

i think he favors (in his own way ) those that live by the word.
who would you favor in a group if some followed your way of thinking and other weren´t so sympathetic to you ideas. the US has been favored in so many ways that sometimes we don´t see its dimensions of it. you should wake up feeling you won the lottery just by living in this great land. God will favor a country, to the degree a country does for the others. Maybe you don´t hear what the US (its people and government ) does for other countries, because many of us really don´t care, but He does. and HE does something about it.

The Scripture does refer to the Jews as His "chosen people", but we all have the same rights and privileges afforded the Jews due to their blindness and unbelief during the time in which they put Christ to death. Though there was a method behind their madness (completion of Christ's foretold sacrifice), it pained Christ that the Jews of that day saw Him as nothing more than a prophet. They were looking for a conquering King to deliver them from the hands of Rome instead of a Suffering Servant come to save them from their sins. They had the Law and felt it was sufficient.

"O CHILDREN OF MEN! Know ye not why We created you all from the same dust? That no one should exalt himself over the other. Ponder at all times in your hearts how ye were created. Since We have created you all from one same substance it is incumbent on you to be even as one soul, to walk with the same feet, eat with the same mouth and dwell in the same land, that from your inmost being, by your deeds and actions, the signs of oneness and the essence of detachment may be made manifest. Such is My counsel to you, O concourse of light! Heed ye this counsel that ye may obtain the fruit of holiness from the tree of wondrous glory."

No. And for any religion, race or ethnic group to think different is sheer stupidity.

Islam's achievements are monumental. It gave equal rights to all human beings, regardless of race, color, sex, nationality, status or lineage. Throughout it's 1400 year history, Islam changed barbaric people to civilized people. (The most well known example of this transformation is the conversion of the hordes of Mongols to civilized Muslims).
