We have put our faith in the Lord to take care of us. Now my boyfriend will have to pawn his guitar so we can pay rent. What are we suppose to do?

Are you tithing? or Is there known sin in your life?
I know that in the past these two things have hindered me. When you are knowingly sinning God can't bless you. If you aren't, just don't give up on him, he shall supply all your needs.
Just ask him your questions...he'll show you.
I'll say a prayer!

It is good that you trust and depend on God. However, God never intended for us to not take care of our responsibilities and expect God to do our day to day work for us. God intends for us to be intelligent, hard working, and good managers of what we earn. Everyone faces hard times, pawning a guitar is a small thing. Perhaps a better solution is to work a second shift or a second job (assuming there is a first job). If there is no job. Find one, take whatever is available (whether you like it or not)(rake leaves, walk pets, etc.) for the short term, until you find something better. God will always be there to help and to guide, but we have to do our part. Good luck and God bless.

Are any one working & second, If you are not marry & living together, God does not have to honor your prayers, Because you chose to live in sin as unmarry couple, & 3rd. You need to see where all the money is going to, do you go out to dinners, movies, vacation, Drinking & smoking, If so, why not stop that & look at the most impotant things, 1st Housing, & food & then Utilties, & take the least thing that is important, & put it last on paying it.

have you been faithful with what the Lord has blessed you with? Have you wasted what He's given you by eating out, running up credit cards with things you don't really need, etc? If so, pawn the guitar this month and do better the next.

Um, pawn the guitar. Do you really expect that God is just going to give you rent money?

Well, praying to God didn't help.

Try getting a job or some other means to pay the bills. Perhaps you should try putting together a budget to handle better the money you do have.

well your honest-and you have a precious heart-close your eyes and see if you see any black-if so ask Jesus why-then ask him to forgive you and do better-then ask him "Jesus if I am not willing to do your will change my will so I will be willing to do it, please and thank you Jesus." I am born a Jew-and Jesus is my savior and best friend-its not easy in life-but never let anything take your joy and peace away

there is a door before you-find out from Jesus what you are suppose to do & just do it! Ephesians has some of the answer before you will get to Philippian joy-from Paul in a prison cell for preaching the gospel. Never give up

OK, you put your faith in God to take care of you, have you been doing what He has asked of you. Does at least one of you have a job? Have you been irresponsible with the money that you do get? He will still take care of you, but its better if you don't have to learn the lesson of not being lazy or how to be a better steward of what you have.

Be better stewards of your finances. At my lowest of lows I worked 3 jobs.(I literally had a half hour break bt. 2 of them) Never missed the rent. Make sure you are spending your money wisely, don't live over your means. I have always prayed for guidance, and wisdom when it comes to finances. I'll do the same for you.

Get a second job, or even a third if that is what it takes to dig yourself out of a mess of debt!
And thank God for your good health so you can do that!
