That sounds like a great way to waste your whole life. Makes the Sheeple Mussies look like heathens by comparison.

Basically what the Lord means when he says in the Bible to "pray without ceasing" is this. Whenever you face a temptation or a hard situation, you say a quick short prayer to yourself. Whenever something awesome happens in your life, offer up a quick prayer of praise. Eventually over time you are going to develop such a close connection with Him that everything you do will become a meditation on Him. You can't actually be praying every second, He knows this, but He means to pray EVERY time a situation calls for it. We have enough situations occur in our life every day though that would keep us praying most of the day. The more you pray, the closer of a relationship you build with the Lord. And from experience, the closer of a relationship you have with him, be it from praying a lot or from studying your bible a lot, the more you meditate on Him throughout the day AND the more your life is filled with joy. It is VERY hard for anyone to follow the practive of praying without ceasing, it has been done, but it takes commitment and discipline. I myself have never reached this feat either, but I've found in the past that it gets easier to do the more you study the Bible, and the more you pray. I don't know if you were trying to accomplish this feat, just trying to understand something He said, or even just trying to find a flaw. Either way, I hope this answers your question.

Easy. Just think of each thought as a prayer. Keep your mind on what you are praying for, and you will be praying at all times.

It depends on your definition of praying. If you think of prayer as kneeling and offering up supplications and pleas for mercy, then it is impossible. On the other hand, if you view prayer as an ongoing dialog with God, then it is completely possible. For God's spirit can move you in your daily life and work, helping you make good choices.

To me it is not a physical act of uttering words at all time...that would be rather difficult.....but a constant awareness of God's presence in every aspect of my life...for the most part I am as aware of him as I am my own heartbeat...and that continuous awareness leads to a state of "being" known as prayer...which is most cases is just an acknowledgment of his Omnipotent power..

How does one think at all times. Turn your thoughts into prayer. Interact with God in your normal thought patterns. It becomes a habit.

think of it as a conversation that is picked up and dropped throughout the day. If you believe that your "God" can hear your thoughts, then you can communicate throughout your wakened day. it's like driving in a car w/ someone. you don't speak every single second. but you speak as ideas pop into your head, and you also listen to them as they feel prompted to speak. especially once you trust someone, you don't feel that you have to "fill" in gaps of conversation. you just enjoy their company and pick their brain, and let them pick yours. generally speaking. hope this helps.

Your life is a prayer. Religion has just told us a silly story and made it seem like a sin.
