Consider all the Islamic conflicts worldwide: Chechnya, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Somolia, Sudan and Dafur genocide, Chad, Phillipines, Indonesia, Lebanon, Palastine, Iraq, Algeria, Southern India, Kashmir, etc..

Consider how much all the civilzed countries of the world spend on preventing Islamic terrorism.

Consider how much is spent fighting Islamists, by countries worldwide (see above).

Consider how much money is given in handouts to countries impoverished by backward Islamic doctrines of governance.

If humanity could keep the trillions and trillions and trillions of dollars wasted on Islam....how much better off would we be? How many lives would be saved?

Are my words to pragmatic for you?

So I was raised in one religion that said all non-believers go to hell. And I started looking into other religions, and they say non-believers to hell too. So I'm really scared...I'm not (that) confident in my religion so what if I'm wrong? I want to follow God, but I feel like he's hiding from me. I have to guess the right religion to be with him. And now I'm paranoid about going to hell. It would seem, statistically, that I am probably going to pick the wrong religion.

There is a beast depicted in Daniel, that is a lion with eagles wings that are plucked from it.
Lion- Great Britain
The Eagle- United States
Does this show the Declaration of Independence?
I mean if they said the elephant and the zebra it would make no sense, but God knew.

Let us look at Deuteronomy 13:6-9 "If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying: Let us go and worship other gods (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other, or gods of other religions), do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people."

Also let us look at Deuteronomy 17:3-5 "And he should go and worship other gods and bow down to them or to the sun or the moon or all the army of the heavens, .....and you must stone such one with stones and such one must die."
2 Chronicles 15:13 "All who would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman."

Jesus.
Let us look at what Jesus said in the New Testament in context:

Matthew 15:1-9
1 Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked,
2 "Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don't wash their hands before they eat!"
3 Jesus replied, "And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?
4 For God said, 'Honor your father and mother' and 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.'
5 But you say that if a man says to his father or mother, 'Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is a gift devoted to God,'
6he is not to 'honor his father' with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.
7You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
8 " 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.'"

(FIRST)
Mar 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

(affliction = tribulation) check it out

(SECOND)
Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

AFTER THAT TRIBULATION

So how is there (pre, mid, and post tribulation conjecture)?

Do think that it is a difference in religion that people fight about or is it a difference in views that people fight about and cover it in a shroud and blame it on religion? As far as I know, there is not a God that condones violence against your fellow man.

What do you think?

say...whenever I post something annoying about jews its censored on this website, whenever I post something about christians, its not.

Whenever I post something that disagrees with Israel's policies or US's policies toward Israel, it immidietly gets 4 thumbs down. Is this like a feeling of self-preservation or are they just too sensitive?

I just have a hard time dedicating my life and time to God. I totally believe every word of the Bible. But I just can't seem to sit down and crack open a Bible for more than five minutes. And when I pray it's like I'm speaking to a brick wall, or I just start falling asleep or getting distracted in my thoughts. I've always wanted to ask my church leaders for help, but they have this misinterpretation of me as some real dedicated christian, and I feel ashamed to go and destroy this illusion. I always thought they'd just see right through me, but they don't.

Even when I do summon the courage, I don't know what to ask. I know Satan is just putting this in front of me, but I can't seem to get around it.

Now, because I've put it off, It's grow into apathy. Satan's convinced me I don't need God, and I can't help but feel that way. But I just have such a hard time staying focused in my prayers...
I know what I'm doing wrong, but at the same time I can't fix it.

I am now a respectable but devout worshipper of Satan but am ashamed of this childish acct. I dont agree with God but I am not a Hater.

Christians this is something Id like you to understand to better your faith, and non christians this is something Id like you to understand for the sake of understanding.

There are a lot of misconceptions about prayer. When it was written that what you ask of God you shall recieve does not mean your earthly desires. This is something a lot of Christians and non-christians don't understand about prayer. praying "in faith" means that what you ask is based upon your desire to be closer to God, to know God more. Everytime you ask this of God does he not answer? It is not God's will to grant us the meaningless things that people pray for like a raise at thier job, an A on a test, or a new car. Whatever you ask in faith you shall recieve means that when you ask something of Him that brings you closer to Him, you will never be denied. Never. Your faith is what God wants to strengthen and make grow, not your earthly pleasures or concerns. Please don't waste God's time praying selfishly
