Jehovah's Witnesses both witness personally and bear witness to others regarding God's personal name, his majestic personality, and Kingdom purposes. In doing so, they align themselves with Jesus Christ and the prophets.

(Isaiah 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah

(Isaiah 43:12) So you are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.

(Hebrews 12:1-2) Because we have so great a cloud of [Jehovah's] witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus

(Revelation 1:5) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness”

(Acts 5:38,39) Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, You may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”

We are Witnesses of Jehovah, just as surely as were the Israelites of old. This is what Jehovah said to them:

Isaiah 43:10, 11, 12

"“YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. 11 I—I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.”

“I myself have told forth and have saved and have caused [it] to be heard, when there was among YOU no strange [god]. So YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God. Also, all the time I am the same One

No, " witness" means to go out and tell people about God or in this case " Jehovah". So Jehovah's witness means people who go out and spread the word about Jehovah. That's why they go door to door. It's not about seeing his face. It's about what they believe he has done.

No. It's not that we, or anyone in our organization has 'witnessed' God. It's that we are HIS witnesses, in the sense that we tell others about Him and His plan for mankind.

So that mean u shouldn't call him God? Nor have u seen God face to face. If you've met someone online do you not call them by the name they gave you just because you haven't seen them face to face?
