There is a beast depicted in Daniel, that is a lion with eagles wings that are plucked from it.
Lion- Great Britain
The Eagle- United States
Does this show the Declaration of Independence?
I mean if they said the elephant and the zebra it would make no sense, but God knew.

That does not say anything about U.S. It is part of the then future prophecy of world history and parallels the dream of the image of different materials earlier in Daniel.
However, Revelation 12 &13 mention that when the church (pure woman) was persecuted by the Dragon (persecution of the dark ages), the Dragon wanted to destroy her children by water but the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the water. In prophecy, 'sea' means very populated area while 'earth' represents the opposite. To which country did those fleeing religious persecution in Europe go?
"Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman that brought forth the man child.
Rev 12:14 And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman water as a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.
Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth."
Note that the woman had two wings of an eagle.

Nonsense... If the Bible said Elephant and zebra, you'd possibly say the elephant was the Republican party and the Zebra was some other pile of crap-worthy thinking....
Golly, Do you all ever try swallowing some of your own dung...?
This kind of foolishness is exactly what makes religion dangerous. You all seem so willing to stretch and twist and turn and bend your thinking to attempt to prove the most illogical ideas.... and then, even worse, along come your "great leaders" to sell a bill of goods, some "will-of-God" endorsement of a political issue or a new world posture with the potential to cause unrest, and you all seem to stand in line to blindly swallow it whole.
I can't wait for the day when you all come to reason and give up your foolish faith in "holy-books"... Please people, let it be sooner rather than later. If the holy books and the Gods they tout can't stand up to the test of simple logic, let them all fall away by their own momentum.
The good ideas of the Bible and Quran have done their jobs, 'God' and 'Allah' have been terrific at bring out what they had to offer... but it's time for the God-idea beliefs and the old books to be set aside. We can all see that they no longer apply... they weren't as true as they were said to be. Thank your God for what he has done to assist mankind and kiss him goodbye... his time is past. The God-idea has become a problem for our modern world to settle and we must face the truth of that fact.
Be honest with yourself and be honest to your neighbor. Be reasonable and not faithful. Become part of the solution. Change.

elephant symbolizes the republican party and zebra symbolizes the issue of segregation in the mid 1900's
hey, look at that, the thing that you just made up as an example of ridiculousness can be interpretted as a predicition.
kind of makes you wonder "is there anything that people can't believe in if they have faith?"
the answer, in case you don't already know, is no.
if you have enough faith you can believe the world was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster, or that every Christmas you are delivered gifts by a Christmas poo named Mr. Hanky and no matter what anyone said you would not change your mind.

That sounds wierd but the winged lion is a symbol of the other great empire of the middle east. Babylon.
It has nothing to do with the USA.

nice try America is noteven alluded to anywhere in the bible. How very arrogant of the person in that video to assume Daniel was talking about anything but nations around him. Ethiopia has long been symbolised by the winged lion, Lybia a bear and egypt a large cat.

Every generation thinks it's the most important one ever. Makes sense, since I'm in this generation!
That's why we see end times predictions over and over...we're so important that Bible prophecy MUST be talking about us, right? Generation after generation makes this mistake.
You can see America, you can see the Soviet Union (oops...those bear images never worked out), you can see whomever you want. Prophetic literature in the Bible had a purpose, but it wasn't to predict geopolitical happenings a la Nostradamus.
