Though he got several thoughtful answers, a couple of people simply called him an idiot. Why do people call others an idiot just because they ask a reasonable question? Is it because they lack the ability to answer the person's question intelligently, so they just call the person a name?

People have been saying for centuries that "God/Jesus will return soon" and restore the earth to a state of paradise.

The population of the earth is now growing almost exponentially, and the vast majority of these new souls are being born in non-Christian, closed off countries like China, so through no fault of their own, they have almost no chance to hear the word of Christ.

With so many new non-Christian people being born everyday, the overall state of mankinds spirituality is tending towards less and less Christianity. Right now, Catholics are outnumbered by other faiths 3:1, and soon it will be 4:1, then 5:1, and so on. The sheer number of rapid births make it virtually impossible to spread Jesus's teachings fast enough, no matter how many missionaries there are.

If Jesus was going to return to save "his people" what the heck is he waiting for? The longer he waits, the less Christians there will be on earth, and the more innocent people will die unsaved.

Please explain?

Please, no disgusting stuff about how boys convert. I know all that, no need to go into details. Also, what are the Jewish holidays? I know a few, but not all of them. What are some Jewsih customs? Again, this applies only to girls. Why do Jews celebrate these holidays?

I liked the movie, because I like this genre of movies, but I liked the original better.
Although I didn't like how evil and manipulating the women of summerisle were. Also this movie does not help the stigma that pagans face. sigh....... just like most hollywood movies involing anything pagan do...........

It is virtually impossible for me to believe in this story. How can one man build a boat the size of a skyscraper by himself with no saws to cut lumber, no nails, and no screws? A boat that large would require knowledge of engineering and design. I have heard many christians say that god "helped"? But how specifically do you think that he helped? Did he give Noah super super human strenght, speed, and knowledge, or did god give him a crew of angels to help? What is it exactly that you believe? I would those answering this question would have enough knowledge of the world to understand that this is not possible for one human with intervention. Please be specific on how you think the ark was built. And please, no bible quotes. Im not asking the opinion of people who lived 2000 years ago, im asking you!

Why only the Jews are to spread the good news? Bible was given them to tell about their God whom they claim is the only God who created the universe and the earth. Then it told us how humans degenerated themselves from holiness to sinfulness and death. The Devil wrestled control and enslave humans to do his biddings consciously and unconsciously. Then Jesus came along. He declared his Godhead and the only way to return to God and His kingdom. Jews until now were given a state which is the cause of much strifes, wars and troubles in the Middle East. It is a small nation with a small population.

Why God did not choose the Chinese? They are much populous. Chinese is seen living in every country of the world. Their impact to carry the banner of God will be greater. For the Chinese have the writing which is known as characters developed from pictures abstractly drawn to record things they see. Such characters were discovered storing Good News of God, Christians believe.

So. Why not?

I used to be able to focus very well. Now, it is so difficult.

My housemate is currently the target of black magic.
She just moved in to my house for us to protect her. But I'm scared the black magic is affecting my meditation. I can't think of anything else as everything else is fine with my life.
