They just think he is wring not what he says. Usually i see them bash him and if they get to what he said they make a mountain out of a mole hill on some little point and have to reallt streath to find some thing.

On November 2, 2006, Hovind and his wife, Jo, were found guilty by a jury in a Pensacola, Florida federal court of fifty-eight federal tax and tax-related offenses. Hovind is currently being held by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office awaiting sentencing on January 9, 2007. He has been ordered to forfeit $430,400 and faces a maximum of 288 years in prison

Wow. A 'Hovindist' here...I love Jesus as much as you do - but "Dr." Hovind is a nutjob who butchers and massacres science every chance he gets. I'm a Christian, but I don't see modern science as being in conflict with my religious views. Science deals with the natural, while religion deals with the supernatural.
Every last 'proof' of creationism has been shown to be false.
So, it's not just atheists who think Hovind is wrong. I hope with all my heart that Hovind is sentenced to the maximum 288 years in prison that he's currently facing - it'll be a sad, sad, sad day for creationism - as an evolutionist, I'll laugh!

Because he is. Kent Hovind and his ridiculous theories have been debunked. It's not only many atheists that know he's wrong but many Christians too.
By the way, evolution and the big bang are two separate theories in two different areas of science. You might know that if you listened to some real scientists instead of Hovind's pseudoscience.

I think that most people discount him because he doesn't have any decent credentials, he is in trouble with the law, and to boot he has no science background to be able to prove or disprove anything. He is also a convicted criminal. That pretty much does him in. I also hope he enjoys prison, which is where he is going to spend many, many years.

Because he is wrong, and he is very good at being wrong. He got arrested though, so no more kids get brainwashed by his (thoroughly disproved) ranting about his theories.
Along with him being stupid enough to follow creationism, he thinks democracy is evil, he doesn't have to pay taxes, women are inferior, and that 9/11 was a conspiracy to take over the world.

"Proves". Uh, yeah.
That statement is simply false. Repeating a lie doesn't make it the truth. The next time that you repeat it, it won't be anymore true - but you'll have told one more lie. The time to stop is now.

You must be very young.
He has absolutely no credentials and just makes it up as he goes along getting rich off of gullible people.
I hope he enjoys prison.
(I'm not an atheist though)

Because he is wrong, and he proves nothing but his own foolishness. His "PhD" isn't even from an accredited school.
