What is brainwashing? Prove it. Just b/c you say so? Also, what are coincedences? Can you prove it? Scientifically?

Giving me a website to wikipedia doesn't PROVE brainwashing. Who created that website and why should I believe them?

The term "brainwashing" is WAY overused. Sure, there are deliberate processes for getting children to believe what their parents believe about religion, but we have similar processes for getting children to believe true things as well.

Nonbelievers would do well to stop using the term "brainwashing" to refer to religious education and focus on the place of such teachings in society in general.

that's an odd question really. But here's a pretty reliable reference on brainwashing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainwashing

also, open up an encyclopedia to the term brainwashing, should be able to find a lot of information.

EDIT: you're right it doesn't prove brainwashing. It's just a source of information that is reliable. The encyclopedia doesn't prove brainwashing either by your standards of proof. You're demanding that someone come over to your home and show you brainwashing. That's like demanding someone to prove the theory of gravity. It can't be proven, but it does exist.
