"The Bible does not tell us how or when the apostle Paul died, and history does not provide us with any information. The only thing we have to go on is Christian tradition, which has Paul being behead in Rome, around the mid 60s A.D., during the reign of Nero."

I think ur mistaken Paul with Peter 'cause they say that apostle Peter was crucified upside down: "Simon surnamed Peter died 33-34 years after the death of Christ. According to Smith’s Bible Dictionary there is satisfactory evidence that he and Paul were the founders of the church at Rome, and died in that city. The time and manner of the apostle’s martyrdom are less certain. According to the early writers, he died at or about the same time with Paul, and in the Neronian persecution, A.D. 67,68. All agree that he was crucified. Origin says that Peter felt himself to be unworthy to be put to death in the same manner as his Master, and was therefore, at his own request, crucified with his head downward."

There are no verses that give us any info that proves that Paul was crucified upside down. This mode of death was not an option for Paul since he was a Roman citizen. Crucifixion was for those who were non-Romans. Tradition has it that Peter was the one who was crucified upside down.

Peter was crucified upside down, Paul was beheaded. It doesnt say this in the Bible however, you would have to read it in a history book. I believe it was mentioned in the letters between the church fathers in the early first centuries.

As far as I know - there is no official record of how Paul died. As one answerer said - he was a Roman citizen so they can't crucify him anyway. Apparently - some scholars have it that after his house arrest in Rome, Paul may have travelled to (what is now known as) Spain.

there isn'teven anything in the bible that says that paul was crucified, just that he was murdered And who gives a damn about how Paul died? HE WAS NOT THE MESSIAH. He was nothing more than a boastful, bigoted, bully. Half of what he told people to do were not what Jesus would have said, andin fact he contradicted Jesus more than once.

Peter was crucified upside down. Not Paul.

Paul was beheaded by Emperor Nero. But the Hebrew Religious leaders were hot on his trail and wanted to kill him too for breaking Hebrew Law. many of which call for death.
