Jehovah's Witnesses are careful to do three interesting things when they pray.
1. Witnesses pray from the heart, rather than repeating some rehearsed prayer..
(Matthew 6:7-9) [Jesus said] But when praying, do not say the same things over and over again, just as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words. 8 So, do not make yourselves like them, for God your Father knows what things you are needing before ever you ask him. 9 “You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified
2. Witnesses pray using the personal name of Jehovah.
(Matthew 6:9) [Jesus said] You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified
(Psalm 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.
3. Jehovah's Witnesses pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
(Ephesians 5:20) In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ giving thanks always for all things to our God and Father.
(Colossians 3:17) And whatever it is that you do in word or in work, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, thanking God the Father through him.
(1 Thessalonians 5:18) In connection with everything give thanks. For this is the will of God in union with Christ Jesus respecting you.

Consider that they are the only ones not complaining about not having prayer in school. That is because it never left. Prayer is not a public event, but something between a person and God. JWs prayer whenever the feeling to do so arises, at school, work, in public, at home, anywhere. You just don't know they are.
So many think that prayer has to be a public event. I see it frequently, in my travels as a cab driver. People standing on a corner, holding an over large cross and praying with a bullhorn for everyone to see that they are a good Christian.

Oh yeah! otherwise we wouldn't be able to face challenges each day. Praying on a regular basis helps us to stay focus on spiritual matters, because we are imperfect & tend to let our focus stray into fleshly desires. Plus we need to pray to ask God to forgive our sins through Jesus name.

God is our friend so we pray to him. <> - James 2:23
We pray only through Jesus Christ. "Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except THROUGH me." - John 14:6
We pray for anything that is in harmony with God’s will.It is proper for us to ask for holy spirit, for it will help us to do what is right. (Luke 11:13) We can also ask for guidance in making wise decisions and for strength in coping with difficulties. (James 1:5) When we sin, we should ask for forgiveness on the basis of Christ’s sacrifice. (Ephesians 1:3, 7) Of course, personal matters should not be the only subjects of our prayers. We should broaden out our prayers to include other people—family members as well as fellow worshipers.—Acts 12:5; Colossians 4:12.
Matters relating to Jehovah God should be given first importance in our prayers. We certainly have reason to express heartfelt praise and thanks to him for all his goodness.

Of course we do, sugar! What would have given you the idea that we don't? Jehovah is our friend, and we lean on Him as often as we can in our day to day lives.

Absolutely!!
In a letter to our Thessalonian brothers years and years ago, we were told to "Pray Incessantly." (1Thes. 5:17)

Yes we do, we just don't practice interfaith, which would involve praying with other religious groups who do not share our beliefs.
