Does anyone have a website about it? I know PBS did a piece on this, but I forget.

If you know its truth that faith is not required, it is fact.

Since debate is based on logical arguments and reasoning, and theology seems to be based upon faith, will an Atheist always win?

"If this being is omnipotent, then every occurrence, including every human action, every human thought, and every human feeling and aspiration is also His work; how is it possible to think of holding men responsible for their deeds and thoughts before such an almighty Being? In giving out punishment and rewards He would to a certain extent be passing judgment on Himself. How can this be combined with the goodness and righteousness ascribed to Him?" [Albert Einstein, Out of My Later Years (New York: Philosophical Library, 1950), p. 27.]

(John 17:3)  "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

In the book of Genesis the grand pronouncement was about the world God created and all those who dwelled in it. "And, the Lord saw that it was good." If God created us and if everything he created is good, how can being different, being independent, being a free thinker, or even being an atheist be bad?

This may seem like a crazy question to most devout Christians, but how do you bring yourself to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ? I mean, I have been raised in a Southern Baptist Church and, in a way, kind of thought that I was a Christian, but my best friend is the most wonderful young lady I have ever met in my life and we have often talked about God and Salvation, and the thing is that from what I have learned in Church, I can carry on an intelligent conversation that seems to show that I am a very mature Christian, but the bad thing is that I can say it all that I want to, but I can't feel it. It's like Satan is standing in my way of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I know this must be the case, because when I try to pray to God for forgiveness it is like I am up against a brick wall. This is a very sad and disturbing situation to me. Thanks for taking the time to read and answer this.

I am a Christian, but sometimes I find that what I feel in my heart is so different to what it says in the Bible. For example, I can't help but believe that gay people are born that way, and can't help it, and we should accept them (with the same sexual standards as Christians), but the Bible says alot against gay people. I also just can't believe that so many trillions of people are going to hell - just for being born. If that were true, then abortionists would be the biggest evangelists! I have heard of stories of missionaries that have allowed terrorists to rape and kill their families, instead of denying God. Well, I think a loving God should understand that you should protect your family first.

Does anyone feel this way about certain issues? If so, what are they? Thanks.

atheists need to think there is no god anywhere, even for religits
religits need to believe there is god everywhere, even for the atheists.

why can't athiests accept that religits have a god, and religits just leave atheists to their concept of a no god existence.

can they?

A few of the passengers prayed before boeding the plane. Another passenger saw it and complained to the gate attendant. The passengers were refused boarding privaleges. What do you think about that.

I personally think that is going way to far. If that was me I guarentee a major lawsuit would have been filed within the hour for discrimination.

I am new to a Pentecostal Church that I have been attending these past few months (Assembly). I am born and raised Catholic but recently decided I needed a little more closeness to God which I found at my present church. However, I recently heard that there is a percentage that is the "rule" to offerings. I am not too sure that I like this idea, I had never heard of such a thing. ...not because I dont want to give - but because I could care less if I were going to a beautiful aethestically pleasing church or a plain-old tent.. just as long as I am with God (this is my personal feeling). Then there was a testimony of someone who had increased her offerings and started to receive more money from her business. I am a little confused because I dont go to church for the money benefits. Does God really care about money? Is there really a percentage that I dont know of? Where is the Bible does it state this? I am soooo confused! I dont like feeling this way. Please help!!!!

You know, the ones the usually have a piece of cardboard that says something like "Will work for food" or "Need help".

Do you ever slow down or stop for those people? Or do you just zoom right past them in your fancy smancy $100,000 vehicle?

If you stop for them, why?And do you give them anything useful(change, money, recyclable cans, a Bible maybe?)? And If you dont stop for them, Why not?

leader of all the other lesser gods (angels) ? Angels apparently have no origins in the 'good books' . They must have been incorporated in monotheism directly from polytheism . Do you understand what I'm trying to say ? What do you think ?
