When I became willing and open.
Desperate and in prison with no hope...totally guilty and looking at time. I had 88 marijuana plants, child porn, half ounce of cocaine and about a pound of dried marijuana. Many charges.
Said "ok god...if you are who u say u are, let me out of here and I'll live for you" I expected no response. Within weeks, all charges were dropped, my lawyer could not even explain. The man gets paid 250 bucks an hour to explain things in a long winded format, and all he says is "wow, that was a miracle in there or something"
I knew that was God. Since then I am free from all my addictions and not perfect, but much better. I was 28. Now I am 31 and I use this experience to help others get off drugs.
But hey, I know I am a terrible person because I believe, right?

Did you loose God? The God who existed before He created everything you can observe?
Heaven is where God is and hell is where God is not. Earth is where you are. Did you loose and then find God? or did you just loose your focus.
In answer to your question, I never lost God, so find Him in only a matter of belief.

From the moment I was conscious. I remember being a child ...about 4 years or thereabouts, and thinking in amazement "How am I so special that I exist? How is it that I can think, and feel, and hear, and see, and have a conscience! There must be some great being that governs all this amazing stuff called life!

I never did ,and no one can tell me where to find him .
No metaphors like "in your heart or within your mind " please .
I want a place where I can See him ,something tangible that doesn`t require pretending .
