yes...praying is talking to God...while building ur relationship with him and doing ur daily walk, u will want to pray and talk to him as much as possible...when i pray, i make sure to thank him...in everything, give thanks, then i tell him i love him and then lift prayer requests to him...u can pray anywhere...anywhere at all! at school, before you eat (to bless the food), going down the road, while reading ur bible, in ur bed before you go to sleep, when you wake up, in the shower...absolutli anywhere, absolutli anytime! my favorite place to pray is the alter...it's supposed to be meeting with God and u can feel his pressence the strongest there...prayer is amazing and you should definatli do it! good luck and i'll be sure to pray for you! :]]

I talk to God as a friend and confidant, I try not to just go to God when I need to but sometimes it just happens that way, sometimes prayer doesn't always work but it comes up good in the end trust me God knows what his doing, I pray late at night during the day, early in the morning anytime i need to it also gives you a time with God to me its about building a good relationship

Prayer is how we talk to God through the person of Jesus, Jesus is our intercessor, some christians will tell you speak from your heart, this is idealistic at best, the best thing to say is what you feel needed. I pray in the quiet hours at morning and night and when you pray always give glory to God, for what He does. sometimes it may take a while for god to answer prayer, be persistent in prayer always.

Is prayer necessary? How else can you have a relationship with someone if you don't communicate with them? ...Whether it's god or another friend.

No, prayer isn't only talking to God. It's listening too. In fact, it probably is more about listening. I tend to go to God with supplications, but I realize how selfish that is. We must also thank him, praise him and confess our sins.

Many ppl say praying and reading the word first thing in the morning start out your day right, and their days tend to go better when they do this. Prayer is very grounding.

Prayer simply means 'to ask.' Therefore, whenever you speak or request anything of anyone, you are praying to them.

While all prayers are given directly to God, one may pray to Him through a Saint in Heaven. The one whom we usually go through for intercession is the Blessed Virgin Mary, because she is the Mother Of God(most Protestants only pray directly to God).

Yes, prayer is indeed necessary for a Christian, in his/her faith journey to God. God Attaches numerous Graces to prayers. I love praying the Rosary, whenever I am in a Church(I would love to do it more often than that).

Holy Mass is a prayer to God.

I believe prayer is an important part in maintaining a close relationship with God. When I pray in the morning to God, I feel encouraged throughout the day. God promises to take care of His children.....

Luke 11, 9-13

"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[f] a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

The Bible instructs us to "pray without ceasing." I don't believe this means God expects us to be on our knees all day with a lot of "thees" and "thous" and "verily's". I believe that means that He wants us to talk with Him and consult with Him about the everyday things that go on in our lives. I am not formal at all with God. He is my Father. I don't go to my earthly father all uptight and formal. I just talk to God the same way. That doesn't mean that I'm disrespectful but I believe He wants to talk to ME not the person I feel I have to be in front of Him. Any place is fine. Any time is fine. Any subject is fine. He's just happy to hear from us.

Prayer is any communication with God. It can take any form and be done anywhere. Even tears can be a prayer because the heart speaks its own language.

have you eever heard the Power of Prayer?

do u know why we pray? we dun pray just because we like it or we did it for just some old religious rituals or something like that.

we pray because we WANT the Move of God to be in us. Praying is like plugging in ur wire into God's power supply. when u pray, u become more spiritually powerup-ed.

Praying is literrally talking to God. Yes, talking to Him. its not talking to plain air.

Some people pray because they are afraid. they pray before their exam results release or smth like that and pray got good results.

Some people pray because they want good results. like they pray before they study for their exam.

have u ever heard of talking in tongues? it is talking in spiritual language. why do we talk in tongues? because we dont want satan to listen to us. satan cannot understand our spiritual language because he is not connected to God. YOU are connected to God therefore only you and him can understand tongues.

if you wanna talk in tongues, you could speak to your religious leader and he will pray for the deliverance of tongues.

Praying can be at anywhere. because God is everywhere! recommended places to pray are when u are alone, quiet in your room, free from every distraction. u can also pray when ur walking, or in the library or something. of course, u pray silently, or people will think ur crazy... lol

Prayer is a very big topic. u should hear more of your pastor preaching about prayer. well i could teach you some ways to pray.

First, before you pray, u must have something u want from God. Ok lets say u wan to score great results and top ur class or something.

Then you go on like this :
Oh Father in Heaven / God
Right now right here i pray for wisdom from you ( pray for what u need to archieve what u want )
so that i can do so well in my exams that i can shine for you in my school ( and mention what u can get out of it ),
i can be a top student and i can be a witness of your Glory and show everyone that You, God is true and you exist.
So Father, as i study my concepts right now, i pray that u will open my mind, let me understand every concept.
So Father, i lift up this prayer into Your Courts.
In Jesus name i pray, Amen. ( compulsory to say. its like saying in a letter : this letter is by me )

Do not be shy to pray. God can understand every languange. even if u talk in your own language, God can understand. If u can understand, how much more can God understand?

u can go like " oh God, my studies sux like crap and i did so badly like a noob so God i pray u will give me l337ness so i can own every question in the paper and get a l337 score!!! ".

Haha. so thats all man. if u got anything more, we can discuss over email. Good luck in your prayer. the more you pray, the better you get! God bless

To ME prayer is simply getting into a quite place,i like to kneel beside my bed,in a very comfortable position, sometime i just sit beside my bed..then i just talk to God,i start by thanking him for blessing my life,i tell him all my problems are things that might be on my mind,my doubts and things that bother me, i ask him to help me and guide me so that i can make the right decisions, then after I get finished I tell him that i love him and thank him for listening to me and then i say amen....I feel clean inside after that, and i always ask him to forgive me for anything that i might have done that wasn,t pleasing to him...He loves us,he is interested in our life, and he loves for us to just talk with him...........Yes i think prayer is necessary beause it helps you to unload all your problems and leave them in his hands.....
