Ah. To you this seems logical but to me it seems not . The reason I say this is some thoughts that come to mind. If I were an atheist and my child was hit by a car and in the hospital, I am scared, I am sad, I am in a panic. Who do I turn to for strength when all who I love are weak like me? What is the logic in that ALONENESS? Or I go to the doctor and he tells me I have cancer . A year later I lay dying in the hospital . It feels so dark. I am so scared. Is this it , I say? Now what? Oh my goodness, I am so scared, I don't know what to do? Who can help me? Please, is there anyone? I answer to myself, "NO" How scary is that? Is that Logical to say my life originated out of nothingness and is going nowhere? I think not. That's just my opinion, take what you like and leave the rest and I hope you don't get offended when I say God Bless you as I mean it in the best way. So who wins the debate? I say God does in the end.

Firstly, it depends on whom you ask. My catholic girlfriend happened upon a campus christian group watching a christian/atheist debate on video. She was just walking by but paused to watch. The christian was presenting horribly unconvincing arguments. She was ashamed to have her side represented so poorly. However, all of the students in the group were cheering enthusiastically since the christian was 'obviously' winning.

Secondly, there are people who can argue christianity's case within the rules of logic. Personally, I've never seen it in practice, but I've seen certain philosophical arguments that are more difficult to refute, and I'll again defer to my girlfriend, who has spoken with some priests and other catholic scholars who make good cases without requiring the presupposition of God.

I guess a good place to end is with what victory means. A conversion, at least conversion of a strong believer of either case, would be rare, so neither side's going to admit that their side is wrong. I guess it's still possible that people could decide who argued more effectively, but a victory doesn't really mean anything.

Well, you are begging the question by defining the terms to your advantage. That, by the way, is a logical fallacy.

Theology is not "based on faith" but hermeneutics, history, textual criticism, and (Aristotelian) logic.

Humans are a balance of logical and illogical, this forum proves that. No one wins debates, every one is a loser unless we accept peace.

Absolutely not because ignorance trumps reason everytime!
God loves stupid ignorant people and will never let an atheist convince a true believer of anything no matter how true it might be!

Nope.

Because humans are not logical beings. They tend to prefer irrational thoughts.

only if the believer can be convinced to only allow facts and reality in the conversation. Once they invoke a supernatural being as proof of anything the discussion falls apart.

Atheists don't believe in anything. What are they winning?

The religions can win if they can produce a man who lives in a cloud (that's their stumbling block).
