Someone I know is gay, I've warned them God doesn't like this but they won't stop taking it up the poop chute,since they've been warned,should I go ahead and follow the old testament and stone this person to death?Thoughts?

What technological developments have resulted from Creation science, how has it improved our lives in the way main stream science has and how many mining companys search for oil and minerals using the young earth geological model as opposed to main stream Geological science and how successful have they been? Main stream geology states the world is 4.5 billion years old and underpins hundreds of billions of dollars worth of mining world wide each year. Why dont the big mining companys use creationist geologist to find the oil and metals that drive the world economy?

Just look at 99% of the answers from Christians on this site saying that "God loves everyone". Where is that in the Bible?

The Bible says that God not only hates sin, He hates sinners themselves:
"The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity." - Psalm 5:5
"The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates." - Psalms 11:5

Before you quote John 3:16 and try to say that "world" means "everyone in the world", consider other uses of that word such as:
"Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." - 1 John 2:15

Yes, God loves His people, but where does it say He loves "everyone"?

The same Bible that says "God is love" (1 John 4:8) also says "God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:29).

God does not cast sin into hell, He casts SINNERS into hell.

How do you support the notion that "God loves everyone"?

This has been the big ongoing debate between Baptists and Pentacostals. The question is:

Once you are saved, are you always saved and no matter what you do for the rest of your life, you can never loose it and you will go to heaven because of that one time you accepted Jesus as your Saviour??

What are your thoughts on this?

And "if they turn away then they never really accepted the Lord to begin with" doesn't hold water to me because you can't know that for sure.

Okay, first off, I am NOT asking whether you believe the following is true or not, I am only asking if you think it is possible. Kay? Kay.

Now, I've been flicking through the bible recently and I've noticed something odd. Walking on water, turning water in to wine, spending forty days in the dessert, talking about how difficult it would be for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle etc. etc.

Jesus came out with some bizzarre shpiel in his time. I mean, totally out there. I have, in my time, also heard some of my friends talk in the same manner, but whilst stoned off of their heads.

Do you think it is AT ALL possible that Jesus was NOT the son of God, but rather just a regular guy who was quite persuasive and had some pretty cool ideas? Do you think it's possible that he hallucinated some of the stuff he came up with?

Once again, I'm not asking if you believe Jesus was a stoner, just if you think it may be possible.

I often wonder when i hear of people who have been sent messages by their loved one's that has past away if you have relative's living in a different country could you get messages from them as well, do they speak to you in English and what if they don't know how to speak English??
