I'm looking for a good "grace" to say before meals. I dont' have children, so it would be a "grown-up" grace you can say before dinner. Not necessarily just at Christmas. I'd love to hear some of yours. Please help me! Thank you so much!

This is very very sad in my opinion. I am outraged by this but I also understand why it was done.

Why not practice quietly whatever you believe in (or whatever you don't believe in) and not bother people?

Are they real spirits? Are they fantasies? Are they slaves? Are they children? I am trying to understand the Muslim religion, and not trying to insult it. But I don't understand their views of women. Please explain this in your own words. No quotes from the Q'ran please. If I understood them, I wouldn't be asking.

There is nothing "out of context" about it. Christians say "out of context" when it is not, just like a parrot. The Bible is supposedly the perfect word of God. Slavery must be okay to the Christian God. Slavery is vile. Creationism, and Noah's Ark are absurd.

I'm sorry I know very little about your religion, but I do know that you have several phroets (Mohammed being the main one, yeah?). My question is... is Jesus the only phrophet who will rise again?

Thanks

Correct me if I am wrong, but would not a true atheist not even care about God any more that they would care about the urban legends like ghost hitch-hikers?
Deists HAVE TO ABIDE THAT EVOLUTION IS TAUGHT IN SCHOOL, but the thought of God being taught (when it is our founding documents and our country was based on CHRISTIANITY), is so terrible.
Double standard?

Why is it offensive for there to even EXIST a depiction of mohammed (or muhammed)?
The Christian world has a definite excess of pictures, paintings sculptures of Jesus.
Buddah is everywhere in that belief system.
The religious of India have an abundance of Vishnu and other gods in sculpture and paintings.

Why, oh why, is it offensive to have a picture, drawing, etc.. of the supposed prophet of islam?

I'm a Christian and i live my life for the lord but every time i have a discussion with an atheist what they have to say makes a lot of sense. I've had faith in Christ all my life but i'm starting to really wonder if i'm on the right path.
