i don't mean just the christian concept of god, i mean gods from all religions that have been recorded as having manifestations in front of humans(ex: greek gods, roman etc). where are they? why have they stopped appearing before people? are they offended by more recent generations? hiding? never existed? i'm asking for some personal clarification..

This is a tough question because no matter how you answer it, there will be those who will believe you are insane. Even so, I will try.
In the way in which the ancient gods were written about, I know of no one who has experienced them that way in our modern times. Why that is, I have no knowledge or real understanding. All I can do is surmise. And there really isn't any point in giving you my "opinion" because it is not necessarily fact. Instead,
The ancient gods can be experienced through an invocation. This doesn't happen often, and you must be trusted in order to get an invitation, but if you are so fortunate to be there when an invocation is done, it is, without doubt, a remarkable and sometimes life changing experience. Also, if you choose to be aware,
The gods will influence you. You can get what I lovingly call an "incoming memo" in the form of what appears to be a random thought. More often than not, people reject these thoughts, but if they acknowledge or act on the thought, slowly but ever so surely, they begin to realize not only where it comes from, but they will also see the benefit of acting on what appears to be only a random thought. Unfortunately,
Most are afraid. They look at the word, "beware" solely from the negative. In fact, "beware" simply means, "be aware."
I hope this helps.

i know this is not the answer you are seeking but i wanted to post it anyway there is only one true God he is the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end and one of his commands is thou shalt have no other gods before me.
anything you put in your life before God you are making it a God and what is really sad is in today's time most people god is the Almighty Dollar and you see it every were some people will do anything for their god the almighty Kill, Steal, sell their bodies their children i don't even want to think about what people do for this false god but soon it will come to a choice of the true God or 666 which you will not be able to buy or sell anything without

The number of times they appeared to people in their respective texts were limited. Once or twice every thousand years seems to be fine. God appears a few more times in the early days of civilizations, because they need more guideance then.
In the case of Jesus, his return signals that the end of the world is near (less than a decade away), so he can't just make PR appearances.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don

Jesus ended the need for more Prophets.
If you are looking for modern miracles, google Fatima, or Guadalupe. Or study the lives of some of the Saints.
Modern miracles are all around us, so many just chose to ignore them.
Peace and God Bless!

Because today if you see a Goddess/God and tell someone you saw a Goddess/God, you end up in a psych ward pumped full of antipsychotic medication.
But I am very aware of Bast's presence when I look into my kitties' eyes.
Bright blessings!

Only a very2 powerful God can do that.
His Glory is sooooo unimaginable that the mountain crumble when God lifted up small portion of His "veil" toward the mountain( Moses story), than how does we , weak human stands.

I know the Christian God said he had to leave so we would mature, we would have remained as children if he would've stayed around.
I guess we've matured, sometimes I feel we've regressed.
