Another trap you've fallen into
Check out Jesus man, only Paul quibbled over women talking in church (but we don't worship Paul now do we?)

Jesus is the guy, or the God, who after being killed, and in a great miracle came back to life, who saw him first?
Mary Magdalene. This made her the first Christian and first apostle since she was given words of life to tell the others

My point is, if a woman can speak directly to God, a woman can speak to a man or a God in church
The greatest deception ever has been the suppression of women and their intelligence, that is why Jesus had so many female followers

Simply because that was the way of it back then1..Saul/Paul was a well known misogynist, and didn't change his views on women in the church for some time!..But even he woke up in the end!..Jesus seems to place enormous trust in women, His mother..Mary Magdalene..even Samaritan women, it was the women who were first trusted to break the news about Christs Resurrection!..And the men didn't believe them..because that's the way it was back then!..And in some cases unfortunately still is !..

I am not sure exactally what is meant but, I believe that women are told to keep silent or in subjection to men in the worship service because there is a "chain of command". Jesus is the head of the church (those who follow Him) men are in subjection to Him and women are told to be in subjection to their husbands, fathers, and Church Elders because if both men and women are in control it causes kayos. It doesn't mean that women don't have a voice or say so in what is going on. This is basically for the good of women because they are to be loved and taken care of by their men. Men and women are both to be in submission to Jesus. I believe that Jesus did mean for women to be teachers if they have that gift.

In everyday life, it is the woman's place and she is given the power to make this happen. Some women won't allow their husbands to take care of them. They want to be in control and they mess themselves up. I believe that that is why so many men won't do their job of providing for their families. Because women have enabled them.

I think you're referring to the "women shouldn't be pastors" argument. See the link below for a dissertation.
